yes thank you neil. glad diego got one, and that o'shea looked comfortable. my brother was at the parma game and said he looked every bit as competent as rio at central defence.

Despite the scoreline, it wasn't the best game. It was very slow, we didn't look fully fit yet. The strikers missed some chances, particularly Ruud, but he never gives up. Same could be said for Forlan I suppose, got his goal in the end - hope it helps to ease the pressure on him. I'd prefer to see him up front than on the wing, though he can cross very well.

Ain't doing it all season though, Gazza got roasted for doing so. Has United got radio this year?

That's coz Gazza just wrote what the old match tracker said!

Anyway, I'm one of many that can't get the new tracker to work... :(

The new ManUtd.com radio worked OK last season..... We'll see what happens this season

Not for pre-season games though.

Tried that last year. Not saying it won't be his best position eventually, but at the moment I think he's performing really well in midfield.

Alex - Forlan, he made a good run for his goal...I always think a goal helps a player... Beckham is fine, he's shown he is back to his best, his passing, movement blah blah. Rio has just a little strain in his thigh.

Right, only United can redo such a bad website, and make it worse. They better sort these troubles out for the new season.

I don't mind doing the match tracker if I'm allowed to drink and eat crips. ;) But only if there ain't radio of course.

i smell a union thing - first food and drink what's next a pay packet and holidays. never!

I reckon that was Danish Devil serving the ice-creams.

Just saw the goals on Sky Sports. Ruud's first was a cracker, and nice to see Forlan get in on the act. Looks good for the new season.

Sky Sports News yes, plus quite a few Prem games which I think are broadcasted by Sky, but picked up by Fox Sports World. I think Rupert Murdoch owns both set-ups so it's quite similar. ;)

Ole did alright yesterday. One assist to Ruud and a good goal... Saw the goals on tv.
Forlans was great too

So judge from this performance do you think Fergie will really rest Becks in the first month?

No I don't, he rubbished what the papers were saying and said Beckham looks in fine form. Becks played very well, lots of great crosses and corners, and cross field passes.
