We should've made more of our chances I think - we had plenty from corners and crosses, mostly from Beckham. They had chances too and made our keeper work harder than theirs in truth. But Roy was up to it.

I would have liked a harder work out really, at least though no one has got injured in the first half.

In Halftime analysis they think it was a goal of theirs and not a foul, but the ref always backs the keeper. And he's played great otherwise. Watching the replay of the incident, ball coming down into the box he runs out to try to get it but their player is also running to it, they collide somewhat and Roy can't get the ball because of it. He may have been better trying to punch the ball rather than two handed collect.
 
Could be interesting to find out what Giggs think about Pugh in this match.

Any movement on the bench? Forlan?

Surprised me that, glad the scan came back ok, in fact there can't be anything wrong to risk him straight away. Good news. Didn't see anything anywhere about this reserve game though. Wonder who else is playing and the score, etc.

Becks off, Pugh off, Forlan on left of midfield, Butt into centre with Veron on right of midfield. Should be interesting!
 
They seem to have come out with a bit more desire, slightly greater pace. Hopefully they'll give the defense a good work out.
 
They've got more of the ball now. Not sure why, maybe their half time talk. Veron is wasted on the right just as he was last season - that's not what he's good for.

Good work on the left wing, but defenders clear. Giggs and Silvestre now on. Didn't see who went off, but it wasn't Forlan.
