Pugh is doing some good balls, playing well. One thing very positive so far is that Veron is sitting back deep and spraying the passes around and getting a lot of the ball, while Keane is more forward and attacking - but not hogging the ball. I hope its deliberate and tactical because we've thought they clashed a bit before.

We should have arranged with DD to streak at some point.
Defense continuing to pass ball across the deck only. It makes such a difference imo to our possession. Great ball down the wing by brown for beckham, cross, but defended well. They break, ball in cleared, and now we break but Ole runs into a dead end.

Ruud tackled on edge of box, ball goes to Ole, hits it well, deflected off. Becks corner from right, free header from Ruud over the bar.

Ruud's goal involved a lovely turn back on himself in the box to lose the defender, then just curled it in from the left of the box into the right of the net.
