That would be shockingly bad planning.
I've planned alright to be fair, but Maier was an unforgivable pick - or at least I should have picked a sub keeper as well as him, like others did. Really bad, bad move now that the non winners have gone up.
I cursed Gilmar for winning the worldcup as well a few times, but I think I get away with him and after his marvelous performance in the first penalty shootout, he definitely won't be replaced.
You all just couldn't wait
Now imagine Eusebio, Garrincha, Boniek running onto those passes

I have to say it's really shitty of anna to pick so soon and very weird to start the draft at that hour.
True.
Most people pick as soon it is their turn - nothing personal. People pick instantly so they don't have to stay idling 8 hours more to wait for someone they don't know will arrive.
I am not going to adjust my life to you guys being late and stay here 8 hours extra, even if I of course feel for you both to miss your pick. The time-limits are there for a reason, it ruins the draft for the involved if you don't pick in your 8 hours.

Personal or not, it was a dick move. Draft starts at 3.30 am so before noon our turn is over. Doesn't make sense. I don't want to point fingers at Pol but he could easily have waited. Especially since he is the organizer and the first pick. He basically threw us under the bus and you didn't call the ambulance.
I think calling it a dick move is very harsh. Is it my responsibility to do your job for you? You are pointing fingers at me because you are mad with the draft rules or yourselves.
My responsibility as a manager is to be available to draft as quick as possible to not cause inconvenience to the managers picking after me.

He could have just said something, we should wait for him or start tomorrow or something like that? Not that I care, I waited anyway, but it's a bit harsh to blame us now.

Why didn't you start the draft in the noon? Why did you do it in the middle of the night? It's pretty much over now with only four people picking. It would have finished at the same time if you started it 4 hours ago.

It just came across as if there was no empathy and we were at fault, when as you know yourself it can sometimes happen, because it happened to you earlier.
Did anyone see Theon get a conformation that this was going to start? Pol posted at midnight. Then he started the draft 3 hours later. Theon never commented on it. I wasn't even on.
It was unfortunate on Theons part. Annah was entitled to pick given the rules but it would probably have been a good gesture given the work you's have all put in, and with so few remaining, to have given Theon an extra couple of hours to realise the picking had re-started.
Let's just drop it anyway - I never brought this up by the way but it will look as if I'm bitching about it when I'm not. So lets just drop it please.

If he missed it, it's really unfortunate, but it wasn't competely unreasonable to assume Theon knew that the draft started, imo.
As in the last round, the draft starts right after the last match and your match finished after midnight! why? because the previous day, Anto and I waited until midnight for you to appear and start the match
I already stated I was going to make my pick, you all were aware and now start going on about how you don't get up on saturday mornings, and that is my fault?! unbelievable!
Theon, sorry that you missed your turn, it was never my intention, as you know from previous drafts, I have always used my own time allocation for the previous manager who missed his turn
The way Snow behaved is another matter, it is open for all to judge

I dont think he should be blaming you for what its worth, I can understand why he might think Annah should have waited but criticising you doesnt make much sense.
Theons gonna troll us all now and wait 7hrs 59mins for his next pick
Going to have to take a risk here and go with Yashin, otherwise I will be screwed for the next round... Hopefully the risk pays off.
