I'll struggle to make one decent reinforcement I think with the nationalities constraint, never mind four! Certainly gives the the number of picks you need to manoeuvre though...

You can add a player whose nationality you do not have or replace one that you already have
Managers will have to strategise accordingly when drafting because it will mean having one less squad member if they replace an existing one with another of the same nationality

I assume the decision on "keep or drop" is only made at the end of that second round, right?

Just to provide an example. If Jake picked some Italian guy, but then didn't manage to pick a goalie to replace Buffon he would have to drop his latest recruit, and he wouldn't have automatically lost Buffon, not until the draft is done with and any failed recruitment crystalises ( call it wp denied).

Not bad, noticed he was having a good season but I still struggled to trust him thinking about some major boobs in the past.

This whole "playing in May" thing seems to have made things fizzle out. Actually, should probably do the draw in May to keep some degree of uncertainty and the interest that generates. Else all games will likely get played out on here way before... Mmmm, doesn't sound too bad either.

Some cracking players still going. Before we started I quickly ran up a list of 140+ players, more than enough for 96 picks, but thought the nationality constraint would result in some dodgy picks to complete squads... Nope.

Iso, we had Inler as a sub option too, just went for Giménez hoping he will get some action for Atlético in the second half and hopefully be a good alternative to free up Brazil/Italy from the CB roles if needed.

I might go for 4-3-3, or moving back Masch to CB and has Inler and Pogba as CM duo (are both strong/good enough?). It depends on how these players perform over the season. I'm surprised Inler is still available for the 12th pick, actually.

He might not as glamorous as others, but Napoli with Benitez could have a good season in the league and Europe.

We thought about having two keepers, but only if Akinfeev, Begovic or Howard were still around for our 11th pick. Unsurprisingly, they were gone. Not too fussed, doubt we would find 4 actual upgrades in the next drafting round so could always get one there.

:confused: What do you plan on doing with all those #10s?

We did try to keep ourselves flexible early on but once the front four and CM started crystalising we where like "Why the feck would we play three in midfield and rip that frontline apart?".

Yeah, with Ozil and Silva around you would consider that. We just couldn't see any scenario where it made any sense to bench Gotze and play Inler deeper instead. It felt like we were taking a third midfielder who would never actually get on the pitch.
