Kane going. Caicedo in. I'm now thinking:

Pickford

Shaw
Gabriel
Estu

Rashford
Salah
Saka
Richarlison

Haaland
Pedro
Jackson

Turner, Chuk, Baldock, Bell

Fairly set on the below now, with 2 mill in the bank to possibly jump from Bruno or Saka to kdb

GK
Pickford

DF
Gabriel
Stones
Wan-Bissaka

MF
Martinelli
Saka
Mitoma
B.Fernandes
Rashford

F
N.Jackson
Haaland

Subs:
Areola
Colwill
Beyer
Mubama

Changed back to this:

Flekken
Gabriel Saliba Estu Botman
Salah Bruno Rashford Saka Mitoma
Haaland

Not happy doubling up on arsenal defenders, but im not sure who the best options are for 5 and 4.5.

Think I'm now set as long as there are no surprises in the press conferences today.

Pickford
Shaw, Estupinan, Saliba
Saka, Richarlison, Mitoma, Rashford
Pedro, Haaland, Wilson

Subs: Leno, Diaby, Botman, Lockyer

Ok, final final final draft, but will probably change anyway.

Cant have any pool players as my rival, and the only one i care playing against, cant have any Arsenal players.

Onana-Areola
Gabriel-Shaw-Chilwell-Estu-Baldock
Martinelli-Rashford-Saka-Richarlison-Chukwuemeka
Pedro-Haaland-Jackson

2.5 in the bank. Any obvious swaps you guys can see i should do?

Ramsdale (Areola)
Trippier - Shaw - Porro (Mings-Botman)
Martinelli-Mitoma-Bernardo-Fernandes-DIaz
Haaland-Jackson (Hojlund)

Decided to go with Porro as my defensive differential. hoping he will thrive in an attacking system.
Midfield is stacked, tinkered with Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Rashford, and Bruno but had to choose two. May regret it, but happy that I can rotate between Bernardo and Mitoma as my 4th option. I think DIaz will definitely be a starter for Liverpool.

Upfront is where I have taken a massive gamble on Jackson and Hojlund.
Any advise, last minute changes?

Onana (Areola)
Gabriel Estu Botman (Cash Kaboré)
Salah Saka Mitoma Rashford (Chuk)
Haaland Gakpo Pedro
Pretty much set on this by now, just don't like it that I don't have any money ITB. And still considering whether it's worth to keep Salah in at cost, you could make a pretty formidable midfield without him...

Considering Salah Vs flexibility myself, I do want to get in a Liverpool attacker though. Is Gakpo nailed for the front 3?

Not sure, but he usually plays in a very advanced position and knows how to score goals. Just a gut feeling from my side but I think he's in for a big season so will be hard to look past him for Klopp.

Salah-Nunez-Gakpo or Salah-Gakpo-Diaz should be our front three imo and the way Nunez has looked and with Klopp's comments about him not pressing (well) enough, I think the latter one might be his favourite option right now.

Thanks. I think I'm leaning towards no Salah at the moment as there's lots of good midfield options that can easily be interchanged in 1 move.

You don't think Jota will start?

I am considering taking out Trossard for Richarlison.

But Richarlison's goal scoring record is poor.

What do we think??

Nor me, guess it's a closed shop.

It’s been responded to constantly  I think people just get sick of saying it over and over. The code is the only threadmark in the thread!

Actually, that's on us idiots that didn't spot it. Cheers! Will join later.

Why would you want Trossard whose a huge rotation risk?

I had a look on an Arsenal forum and they seemed to be raving about him.

Some think he will start upfront in Jesus' absence (as opposed to Havertz who's been mixed in pre-season)

Trossard got joint 2nd most assists in the league last season (12, along with Salah).

I think this season, now especially with the extra injury time, rotation is less of a risk. (Look at the community shield - he came off the bench and scored)

Yeah the average game this season is going to be 100+ minutes. Can see the likes of Darwin, Trossard, Jota, Alvarez etc.. coming off the bench on 70 mins and scoring plenty against tired legs.

I keep going between Havertz and Trossard as an Arsenal differential alongside Saka but again like you say Trossard just puts up much better numbers.

See chaps, I told you Jota shouldn't be in the equation and don't think he will be but then Klopp's started him in preseason so now I'm confused.

I was going to go with flexibility, but as someone else pointed out - possibly RCDC193245452 - you can always sell Salah and change your midfield, but it's a lot harder to bring him in once the season starts if he starts hauling.

Thoughts on:

Onana - Turner
TAA - Stones - Saliba - Estupinan - Udogie
Saka - Mitoma - Rashford - Garnacho - Eze
Haaland - Watkins - Joao Pedro

Pretty strong - lots of funds spent on the back line.

I'm not sold on 3 Brighton players now tbh.

This is true, I have been flip-flopping whether to include him or not. Might sacrifice a midfielder to bench fodder, bring in Salah and leave some money ITB to swap out Pedro if he sucks.

Hoping some random team news breaks today that sways me in one direction or another. Have 7/15 picks I'm sure on but the rest.....

A Spurs fan mate of mine just told me Richarlison is possibly injured and that Son may play upfront.

Decided on going for the safe picks to start, was going to try for Diaz/Jota or Maddison/Richarlison but happy to wait and see on them. Saliba instead of Gabriel as I can't see why everyone's gone Gabriel when Saliba scores more often?

Onana (Turner)

Chilwell, Saliba, Estupinan (Cash, Kabore)

Rashford, Bruno, Saka, Odegaard (Chuk)

Haaland, Watkins, Pedro

No one think Julian Alvarez will get more minutes for City this season? Started up top next to Haaland in Community Shield I believe.

Currently got;

Onana / Areola
Gabriel / Chilwell / Estupinan / Cash / Udogie
Eze / Saka / Rashford / Mitoma / Maddison
Pedro / Haaland / Watkins

Thoughts? Seems mad to be starting a season with no TAA or Salah after recent years but here we are.

Ramsdale (Areola)
Trippier - Shaw - Porro (Mings-Botman)
Martinelli-Mitoma-Bernardo-Fernandes-DIaz
Haaland-Jackson (Hojlund)
Arsenal are signing Raya so could be a risk. Always shit to blow a transfer on a keeper.

Silva might be leaving. Hojlund won't play for a bit and is an unknown. He's a wait and see for me, although I won't be able to fit him in without a change (my keeper, ironically).

I'm thinking Mubama might be a money sink. Might be better to get a less owned £4.5m forward.

Think I'm Going with this: still have 1m in the bank.

Pickford
TAA Pau Zinchenko
Saka Rashford(v) Bruno Odegaard Kovacic
Haaland (c) Jackson

Bench: Vigouroux, Gomez, Baldock, Zeqiri
