Brought in Son for McAtee, had just enough ITB left to make the transfer so felt destined. Wanted to do Bowen first but switched with the Richarlison news.

Son also a good option in the next two GWs so keeping my options open as to wildcard or not next week. Just need to sort out captain for this weekend, Haaland seems the obvious choice but I keep going back to Saka vs Sheffield.

Yep. Saka is in superb form, 7 goals in 5 games and Arsenal are tearing teams apart at the moment.
Haaland has demolished us in the past and we are a bit hapless, but I just have a feeling we might do less crap than people think.

Sod it, I'm Saka captain.
Lascelles to Senesi.

Just need the big namers on here to advise me on who is starting out of Alvarez and Estu

Not sure about either. Maybe Jalv with a slightly better chance

Need to bench one of these (obviously guaranteed to be the wrong):

Palmer - Brentford (A)
Toney - Chelsea (H)
Bowen - Everton (A)

Who would you go for?

Both bench risks but I prefer to go with Alvarez as he probably has better chance to start and higher upside off the bench. Estu is doing my head in.

Estu is a clown. Not even a question really.

Ta chaps, this is what I'll do.

Sod's law dictates one of my 3 "definite" starting defenders suddenly won't play now.

As an unwritten rule I'd nearly always go for the attacker when in doubt. Clean sheets seem very hard to come by, hope the attacker nicks a goal and the bonus points will likely follow

Have generally followed that, but Alvarez always gives that striker playing out of position in the wrong way sort of vibe doesn't he?
He goes next week thankfully.

My last defender pick has suddenly become a bit tricky, I don’t know who to start. Robertson is a doubt, Konsa is just returning from injury and Estu is just a bit shit, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Any thoughts ?

I’m on Bowen at the minute.. can see Chelsea / Brentford having a few goals in it.

Bradley apparently playing at RW today? No clue if it’s true but it’s forced me into a last minute switch, Bradley off the bench to start instead of Gordon. Neto also moved to the bench for Palmer.

feel like I’m potentially making a mistake though and that Newcastle wolves game could have loads of goals.

Solanke has travelled.

It's gonna be The Dominator and The Terminator show this week.

Thought i'd stumbled onto one of my other socials for a second there, as I know a local runner called Dom who sprints off and leads races way beyond his level, and also trains insanely and underachieves in the actual races - we call him the Dominator.

Ended up going Gordon to Son for a hit :nervous: Kind of had to take one to get around using a chip in 29 anyway but feels wrong doing it when Newcastle have a decent fixture this week

He's a weird player that I don't quite get in truth. Never really understand the hype but this is the wrong weekend to be saying that

He had a monster spell of hauls early season, but I pretty much missed that period.
And everytime I see him he's more likely to be playing 5 yard passes nearer the half way line then near the goal. It's just the "attacker" at Man City that gets people interested,

Estu is a clown. Not even a question really.
Missed the deadline (Moreno in for Estu) so delighted to see Estu start at left wing. One last chance to shut up the doubters, Pervis ;)

Team this week:

Pickford (Kaminski)
Reguilon, Estu, Burn (Doughty, Porro)
Saka, Foden, Bowen, Son (Garnacho)
Haaland (c), Watkins, Solanke
