In hindsight, Watkins away to a crap team, with doubt over the main Man City guys playing time was utter genius.
To not even have considered Watkins says it all about my season's decision making :lol:

Though I did remember the ugly feeling of needing Alvarez to do something the last time as cap and he just about squeezed 1 tap in in.

That's what decided for me in the end. My gut was with Gordon or Solanke because I prefer home captains but Watkins is much more reliable than those guys. Huge luck that his haul comes in the last week where there are non premium captains because it will be back to Haaland every week from now on

A good call, and this is why we tag you into our decisions each week.

I've been behind on a lot of the key stuff this year. Solanke, Gordon 2 i've not owned at all.
Staying on 3 United for ages and losing 0.6m set the tone at the start too.

Ah here you have me petrified now :lol: . I thought my logic was sound but this season has been ridiculous for

1) picking the wrong captain
2) benching the player in the midfield/attack 8 that ends up top scoring

Would be a miracle if Bowen blanks now.

It was very open this week to be fair. You could make a narrative/counter narrative for any of the options.

Sheffield had never capitulated or been thrashed under Wilder before yesterday. They even managed to keep City and Liverpool to just two goals. All that plus them managing to get a point in the reverse picture made it a freak result yesterday.

I still don't get the assist rules. Last week Doughty sent in a cross and it brushed João Pedro head on the way to Adebayo, who headed it in. No assist for Doughty.

This week he took a shot that got saved and then Barkley tapped it in. Doughty got an assist. Same happened for Gordon.

How on earth have they put in the rules that scenario 1 isn't deserving of an assist but scenario 2 is? Ridiculous.

Rebounds from shots are assists. Crosses/passes that are deflected and change the intended target are not assists.

These have always been the rules. Guess it's confusing to someone new to the game.

Nah, I know that's the rule... I just think it's stupid. A cross (like the one Doughty put in) barely changed direction... Now compare that to a rebounded shot :wenger:

Garnacho wasn't a good move. I gambled on him because of price but i will get rid as soon Hwang comes back.
