Luiz 90th min pen

Annoying it stops Villa dropping more points though.

Why is their bloody striker not taking that pen. What is wrong with these teams.

Foden, Alvarez (c), Watkins, Palmer.

Is… is this what it feels like to have a….. …. GOOD week?

Unreal ain't it. 48 from 4 so far for me (Doughty, Palmer, Watkins, Foden) and no captain played yet. Already smashed my score from last week and up into the top 30k.

Edit: 47 now as Luis just knocked TWATkins out of the bps

Ake CS, Alvarez scored and Watkins 2 assists. I would be over the moon if there was not;
Palmer 18》Konsa 0. fecking Konsa

Luiz managed to turn a 2 pointer into a 10 pointer with that last min pen.
Unbelievable scenes

What was the thinking behind playing a defender who never ever gets bonus or attacking points, over a pen taking on the up player playing Luton?

Annoying. Forwards should always take. Good for confidence for a start. And if you can’t take one, you shouldn’t be playing

BPS is useless, the weighting was done by someone with a single digit IQ who’s never seen a football match.

I thought it is nailed clean sheet vs Palmer doing nothing :nervous:. I was thinking that Celski will play 0:0.

Plonker, what can i say.

Similar, but with captain played.
Luiz escalating the score to 50 from 4. Higher than 3 of my last 5 week totals, and the other two were only 56 & 57.

Might actually make some headway up my league for once, if Son, Saka, Salah, Trent etc do their thing. Not too much for a couple of the big captain choices mind!

It should be possible to play a false 9 formation. I know one strength of FPL is its consistency through the years but we need more flexibility.

At least allow us to have 6 midfielders, even if only 5 can play.

Now most teams seem to play one up front, they need to get hotter on who they define as a forward

Salah as a midfielder is ridiculous for the biggest example.

Exactly what I'm getting at. Definitely not enough forward options for having 3 slots.

I'm starting to regret swapping Dubravka to Turner on wildcard based on this game.

Sometimes I wonder “why don’t we pick more United players for FPL?”

Then I watch us play

Yep. The mix of United stinking up in real life and within our team is too much.
I have Maguire, but a 4.2m facilitator isn't a bd option. It was the Rashy-Bruno-Onana combo that killed me early season.

52 from 4 (incl cap though) with Guehis 5 to come off the bench for Cash = 57 from 5.

@Dirty Schwein … praying Doughty comes on from the bench? (Selamat tahun Baru)

Haha yeah mate but I know from years and years of playing that when I get a return on my bench my first 11 all decide to turn up to work.

We're captaining him next gw yeah?

I think the next few gw's could be very interesting for a change with the obvious captain picks off the table. He's a good shout for sure but maybe it's time for Saka to show up?

Just checked and Salah, Son and Kabore have all gone red with unknown return dates. Right Bowen in for Salah is done. Anyone gets injured and I'll need to wildcard anyway.

Next week's bus team looks ropey

Areola
Doughty Porro Gabriel Trippier
Foden Bowen Palmer Saka
Solanke Watkins

with just Archer on the bench. £10.7m in the bank mind

Ivan Toney is available again. Might be a gamble to get him straight back in but he could be back to being the sure bet he used to be previously.

Worth breaking the bank and rolling the dice on him already?

They seem to have put AFCON players unavailable half way through the the game week. Is that correct? Surely the round of games has to finish before the players go off on international duty.

Nope sorry. FPL towers have concluded overnight that they can’t play this week. Bet Klopp is pissed off this morning.

Jammy CS for Porro and he was never getting BPs today anyway
