I can exchange Sancho for Diaz but then I will have zero in the bank. I was thinking of selling one of Sancho or Rash and buying Robertson

You’ve got a virtually identical team to me except for Williams and Martinelli.

I think FPL have messed up a bit with the Leicester keepers by valuing them both at 4m. Going to see a shit load of teams with both Leciester keepers in their team. It’s a no brainer really. Both 4m and you’re guaranteed to have one of them play in a team as decent as Leicesters. They have a fairly good early run of fixtures too.

I’d go for a cheaper sub keeper. Ward from Leicester. Also Kante, Rice and McGinn are all low value players. Won’t get many points.

Get that midfield changed stat!! Kante, Rice, Moutinho worth very little in a game based around goals and assists. Also, focus more money on your eleven, rather than lose it on the bench.

Option B is
Robertson instead of Williams for a power 5 at the back
Bailey instead of Diaz (this would give a difficult benching decision week 1 as would have to play 5 at the back, front 2 obvious, so 1 decent mid left benched.

Haaland has an insane run of fixtures from week 2. Kane has a superb fixture week 1. I'm certain loads who have Kane (27% to start the season) will move to Haaland unless the first week score is hugely in Kane's favour, so would have to do the transfer early knockings.#

@Dirty Schwein @Moby and the usual crew, what we thinking of these 2 options.
Rashy could be an option instead of Grealish, but with City's fixtures I'd be nervous. Think United are a sit and watch job.
Dias is a good place holder for an 8m as well as being a big threat himself, but we think Robertson will outscore him for 1m less...

I prefer option 1 due to three flexibility of jumping on players in different price brackets but I wouldn't start with the two Leicester GKs. Maybe swap Grealish to Rashy and upgrade a GK?

I've had this same dilemma for the last few days. Robertson is safe option... Diaz is for those who dare... It'll go down to the wire for me.

Option 6 but I would swap Dias with James as that's a risk worth taking in my opinion. It's a very flexible team and all the big hitters (except James at the moment) covered.

That was a last min rushed one and as @Sandikan pointed out, has 4 Liverpool players :)

So Diaz out for Madison (for some reason, I'm drawn to him... maybe preseason form)

I like 4 and 2...

6 is more sensible and balanced, but 4/5 is a lot more fun I think. 6 is definitely the secure option though with bases covered and a good player in every position.

I have done Threemium in the end because I think it you could potentially get off to a flier, and it allows me to slip in a few players l like and have some differentials in there.

6 is a great team, and it’s safe, but it’s also a team that so many have.

There is so much debate around it, but it’s so easy to fix with transfers. At the very most, you will take a -4 to undo it over a week or two.

This is an extremely bad team. 4 defensive midfield players when you shouldn't have any in FPL. Also you're wasting a crazy amount of funds on bench players, it's not necessary and puts you at a significant disadvantage compared to everyone else.

Option 6 is incorrect as you have 4 pool players as already pointed out and you can’t possibly have all those players in your team. It’s over exceeding the total budget.
 
Who is the best 5 or lower GK?

Currently on Pope but he does have City and Pool in the opening 6.

Ramsdale obvious choice but don't fancy the arse triple up unless I was on pornhub

Mendy the choice but Chelsea seem a bit dodgy at the back and he doesn't get saves

Wolves have easy fixtures. Also Martinez from Villa has three very good fixtures to start with.

Roberson is tempting but I feel like you need an 8.0 mid to jump to someone else in midfield. You can easily get to 7.0 from 8.0 but not vice versa.
 
Need a 4.5 defender so I can fit Robertson and Cancelo in. Currently stuck on Guehi, but that seems a huge risk. Already have Dalot in though so no easy switch to make

But it's only two moves to get to it... If I can hold off GW2 then I'll have two transfers and it's easy move? I just don't trust Diaz now for some reason...

Because I don't want to transfer between these two constantly as other fires will need putting out I'm sure. I trust Haaland to be able to score in any game.

Exactly the same decision I was asking about on the last page. I’ve got it on the first option right now. But I feel like Foden might be really good - Diaz might just last one week if start with him.

I also didn’t realise I have three Arsenal, that feels wrong. Three Arsenal, three Liverpool is a lot of eggs in those baskets.

Exactly. Think I'll go Robertson and if I want Foden or whoever, Robertson down to Perisic (I'll assess his minutes over the first two games) or Trips and Rashy up 8.0.

Just need to make sure I don't use a transfer after the first game so I avoid taking a hit.

Cash to Perisic and Rash to Grealish is probably what I'd do.

Those 3 players that you had in your starting 11 for ages and over the last 24 hours of tinkering you decided to remove based on other player's opinions will have BARNSTORMING STARTS IN GW1 !
