Fantasy Premier League 22/23

I think Rashford will be ok. Think there's a video of him floating about bowling with his mates (although can't be sure it was from this week). Stay positive.

I might have to take a major risk and bin off Salah for Bruno. My closest rival is currently 6 points behind me but has Wilson triple captained with them still to play. I’ve got my bench boost still to use but currently have Ward and injured Williams on there, so to raise funds to replace them while taking the least hits possible Salah will need to go. Decisions, decisions.
This is something I'm strongly considering myself. Nowhere near as high an upside, but an extra game and he's due an assist or goal, surely.... It also gives me funds to be flexible for gw38. Bit risky though, Salah hattrick incoming.

If Rashy is injured, Antony is the way forward I reckon... if Rashy isn't injured, might go Martial instead and hope for the best. No way to get Bruno without either removing Salah or taking a hit... neither of which I want to do.

I have Martial and 8 points last game was decent.
Worryingly he'd be a big differential for me though...but 2 games never know.

Surely a hit is viable for Bruno with his number over two games? Especially if the hit involves getting 4 games instead of 2 if you can manage it?

I will almost definitely be taking a hit this week to take full advantage of doubles.

Wouldn't it be three games instead of two? But I dunno if it's worth it... Not like we tear teams apart, especially without Rashy.

I mean if you used the hit to get in two DGW. Bruno/Alvarez surely better than most two game players?

I own Alvarez. Be warned.

 You don’t quietly fancy him to give Haaland a break in one of those games?

I think he could give Haaland a game off in one and de Bruyne in the other.

Sure but Alvarez been playing and blanking.

He only needs one game instead of Haaland for a big return I think. Obviously it’s Pep, so who knows, but I think he could be worth the gamble.

Haaland doesn't seem to be getting rested at all though when he's fit. Probably a combination of his age and the fact that his role in the team is less stamina sapping than the likes of KDB and Gundo.

I guess the only realistic game he might get the night off in is the Brighton one and that's if City have wrapped up the league against Chelsea. I think he absolutely plays all the rest.

I am thinking about removing Grealish and March to get Bruno and one bench fodder. Surely Grealish starts tonight and definitely will sit out one of the double games. I think Alvarez will play both double or start the 1st one at least. He might get rotated or sub role in the 2nd if City win the title against Chelsea. Except Haaland, everyone is a rotation risk and a complete luck whom you select and who starts / performs.

I think the opposite. Strongest team against Chelsea to get the league won and then rotate in the second game. Isak to Alvarez would be the easiest transfer for me. It would allow me to keep Salah but I'd have a massive benching headache in 37 with 3 x City, Brighton, United plus Salah, TAA, Wilson & Trippier (against Leicester). Oh and Gabriel against Forest

I just feel like Chelsea could be a KDB masterclass game.

You reckon KDB over Bruno?

Yeah, I just saw it. This orange-red flag on him was a bit misleading, wasn't it? No idea how do I get Bruno now though, don't want to sell any of Salah/Grealish/Mitoma/Mac!

Yeah I don't know where they got 25% chance of playing from. They pluck these things out of their arse clearly.

If Rashy is fit, I can't get Bruno. It would require a hit AND to get rid of one of Grealish, Mac, Mitoma or Rashy.

Or to do straight swap with Salah, which also seems like the wrong move.

But now I'm stuck. Was gonna do Rashy to Antony but if he's fit... My only real choice is Watkins to one of Alvarez or Martial, but then I have bench Isak against Leicester.

Final option is bench Trippier and get a city or United defender, which is boring...

No idea what to do

I was happier doing it before Arsenal shit the bed completely. Salah has 3 double digit hauls in 3. KDB is obviously having his minute managed now.
Think of the upside, KDB plays both and hauls and Liverpool draw 0-0 ( I want my TAA clean sheet )

I shall ignore the possible downside for now :)

Roll. :smirk:

Seriously my bus team is

DDG
Shaw TAA Estu
Rashy Mac Mitoma Salah Grealish
Haaland Wilson

with Raya, Isak, Trippier and Gabriel all on the bench. Should I roll as well?

But if Arsenal drop points on Saturday, City surely rotate as tonight's game is going to be quite draining. Mahrez, Foden can do the job against Chelsea instead of Grealish. Although I have him, I might end up removing him to accommodate Bruno.
I have the same headache with currently Pope, Trippier and Henry on bench with March (who will be transferred out)

It feels sensible to roll if Bruno or Antony are unattainable... But I'm a sucker for a double hahaha

Unfortunately we won't know as the deadline will have passed by then. Best we just pretend they win. And yeah I think Grealish will be benched in one of those games anyway.

feckin Arsenal man

Bruno is not even an option for me as I own DDG, Shaw and Rashford. At least with Bruno you know he'll play both games.
Ah, fairs. Bruno is creating chances but we aren't putting them away. Feels a risk.

Is Kane and Martinelli to Wilson and Bruno for a -4 a shout?

Currently have Isak, Trippier and Botman benched for their single home game v Leicester.

That feels super dodgy.

Newc got 3 games to Spurs 2 tho! Edit. Just realised that extra game week is already locked in. Back to the drawing board ffs

Surely you didn't miss the pages and pages of revelry about their double happening this week?

Yeah it does doesn't it. Not keen on benching any Newcastle or Liverpool for the final home game of the season but here we are. It's also why I'm strongly considering rolling. Maybe I could do Wilson or Isak to Alvarez but that doesn't really excite me.

I think I'll just look at what my semi final cup opponent has and try to match/beat that. There's money at stake here.

Over 300,000 transferred out Rashford, and now they may miss a double.

I don’t understand the 25% thing when he was “doubtful” for the last game.

I think I want Bruno and will sacrifice Gakpo for him, but it means bringing in Enciso/Alvarez and dropping a Newcastle forward against Leicester (although Enciso against Southampton is equally as enticing and it’s 50/50 on Newcastle forward)

Alternative is to go Gakpo/Mings to Shaw/Gundogan and gamble on which Newcastle forward starts? Forget Bruno (whose stats are crazy good)

FPL Cups ... how fickle they are !

I play in a H2H league with 20 teams, I have the most FPL points in that league and im currently sitting in 8th position.

We all know how it pans out.
Isak looks utterly gub tomorrow night, out wide, nice tricks but nowhere near goal.

Then suddenly starts the Leicester home game cenrtally and utterly ravages Leicester for a double digit job.
