Fantasy Premier League 22/23

I was really pessimistic about double brighton defence going into this gameweek... Estu is a fecking FPL legend after that.
 
I had got rid of Estu to get Steele Mitoma and Enciso. Whatever I am getting from Enciso is moot.

Yep, it doesn't half ruck up some of our doublers, like Stones & Mahrez.
Stones seems to play one, miss one. Probably quite a risky one as there's 2 main centre mid holding slots, and Rodri will generally be one!
 
Last big big decision of this season.
Bruno, Shaw and Ferguson for Gakpo, Dalot and Toney. For -8.

Worth it? Bruno will have one game more than Gakpo and Shaw will play both for sure unlike Dalot. Ferguson/Toney transfer is to make funds for Bruno.
 
Not doing anything until we find out what's happening with Rashford. I want a United attacker for season run in. Going a bit colder on City now they can wrap up the title in 1 game (actually even before playing if Arsenal mess up again) though I can see someone like Foden or Alvarez smashing in a haul one week.
 
My Work colleague is catching me up in the mini league, I was 81 points clear after GW31 it's now down to 11 and he has Wilson (c), so he could easily overtake me come Thursday evening.

He's had 4 pen saves this season the lucky fecker.

My work colleague who was behind me all season has now gone 30pts clear of me. My only hope is TAA gets a red and that in the Brighton Newcastle game my differentials get points and his don't. I've made bad choices lately though, so I think I might be done.
 
Of course Ederson gets a return for the first time in 8 weeks, and he's on my bench. No matter, I am on 61 points with 7 players yet to make an appearance, this week. And while we're talking about Martinelli, what the hell?! Martinelli played a pivotal in turning my rank around during the second half of this season. Now, he's only put together 9 points over the past 4 matches. I picked him up for this week to see if he could turn things around but that was a mistake.

After I sell Martinelli, I'll have 7M to spend on a new midfielder, any suggestions?

- I've already got 3 Man City, Newcastle, and Brighton players

- Not enough funds for Bruno and the other United midfielders just don't get returns

- Liverpool fixtures look good but besides Salah, their midfield looks completely useless.

Might just need to bench him

Red arrow so far with 8 to go including cap. Not going for troll Wilson has lost me top 50k really, but Estupinan saves me a bit.

First time I bought him for Toney he got 1 pointers due to being ill and Toney got 13 vs City away after his suspension.

This time I go Isak since I thought he would start ahead of Wilson and Wilson get 2 lucky pens.

I think Wilson ranks first for all time trolls for me now together with Reece James.

I wouldn't mind this either but I'm actually worried about Isak not starting over Wilson now in all honesty. Looks a bad captain choice in hindsight but seems we got away with it this time.

Yeah, I took FPL (Ross) Raptor"s suggestion to captain Isak.
Even if he comes off the bench on Thursday, I think he can stick one in the netting.
 
The more I watch Isak the more I wonder how he was ever their main starting striker.
Looks more a dribbler than a finisher.
 
I was pretty much done before this week as well but pretty much all of my differentials failing, and the players I didn't buy/benched banging big has pretty much finished this season for me. Don't have much motivation left at this moment, in the ML that I followed I will end 2nd regardless of what happened in these last few GWs so it's pretty much done. Overall was a pretty decent season all things considered, and I enjoyed that I was able to generally get some differentials go my way. So looking forward to the next one now.

Same here. Even though I made good moves this week getting Estupinan and mighty Willock, all they did was not make me fall even further behind my opponents. I am 35 points off in one of the leagues so I guess that is maybe doable at a push but 60 and 80 behind in the others which I care about the most anyway, and that is impossible to close barring a late Antony miracle next week, or a Willock madness on Thursday.

It sucks because it was my best season yet in terms of squad management. I hardly needed wild cards, covered most doubles without hits, had some good out of the box choices but missed out on a few small decisions, and lost to mainly template teams (one of the guys doesn’t even watch the league or know half the players, just pays some Twitter expert for tips :lol:).
 
Starting to think Salah to Bruno might be a mistake? Maybe I can get a different United doubler?

Salah has home game vs Villa and relegated Saints. It would be crazy to sell him.
Do as i am doing; take a hit somewhere else. Bruno and cheap bench option instead two 7 mil players
 
My rival has Allison and VvD and I only have TAA. Come on, Leicester.
