Fantasy Premier League 22/23

If he's good, he won't FH. He can easily navigate GW32 as he already had the big hitters?

Yeah, having analysed his team a bit closer, that's actually now my fear.

I'll still FH as there's 7 weeks left and I still have a wildcard.
Plus I have De Gea, Shaw, Mitoma, Mac, Grealish, Haaland and Steele  :lol:

He could do Chilwell to White, both for max Arse coverage, and to keep 11 playing.
However, then he'd be exposed if a Jesus/Odegaard went donkey balls. Or one of his bare 11 doesn't play.
And also doesn't have much Liverpool coverage.

So actually I think he'll probably do a FH, as there's gains to be made off him for sure.

I outflanked him in the Euro fantasy game on the last day, so hopefully he's got that in his head
Although in fairness, I was about 8/9th 2 weeks back, was 6th going into this game week, so have snuck up into his grill...

That’s my FH bus team for 32 … will tweak as the week goes .. have doubts about Arsenal defense but surely they get a CS against Southampton. Anyone I’m missing?

Allison
Gabriel TAA Dawson
Eze Salah Saka Martinelli
Watkins Kane Solanke

bench: Johnstown,Guehi, Reed, Trippier

If he wastes a FH this week he's an idiot.

I'm trying to work out what my rival will do now as well. He's only 15 points behind after getting an Ode haul and a DDG clean sheet.

He's currently got this 8 : Trippier, Moreno, Mee, Saka, Ode, Maddison, Watkins, Toney, £4m in the bank and 2 FT's. If I were him I'd take a -4 hit and remove Rashford, DDG & Chilwell to get Iversen, White and Salah which gives him a full 11.

It's going to be hard to actually create some distance as that's a fairly solid team. The Brentford players are probably his weak point and dare I say no Liverpool defender. If we both captain Salah as expected though the gains will be minimal.

If I had a FH I'd definitely make room for Jesus - Southampton at home seems juicy. Probably instead of Saka, but he's not bad and probably still on penalties.

I had that thought too. I still went with Gabriel considering Arsenal have not kept a CS in the last 5 games. But surely they do not concede to Southampton at Home. So the question is, should I go 3 attackers or 2 attackers and 1 defender.

Would appreciate any input from the resident thread experts on this one…

My team..

Raya

TAA - Mee - Mings - Moreno
BRUNO - Salah - Martinelli - MARCH
Watkins - Jesus

The bench has players I don’t want to remove ahead of 34. I have chosen Bruno and March as potential exits because of the deep position and the fact I might add Grealish/Rashford before 34 anyway.

I thought maybe Odegaard/VVD for Mee/Bruno and just playing with 10 and keeping March ahead of his doubles, but I don’t really want 3 Arsenal for the City game.

I want to get rid of Mee, but I also want a decent looking team for this week. Gakpo is the "obvious" choice, but i would prefer to bring in a Liverpool asset who will play both games in the double.

Only other teams who play in 32 and have a double in 34 are West Ham and Fulham and both their second games are tough.

Any options i am missing?

Darwin benched again. He's not really an option is he. Thankfully I won't be tempted by bringing him in for a 4th time

Who's place does Diaz eventually take? Jota or Gakpo?

They like being under dogs. When they're favourites, they bottle it. It's the Spurs way.
Yeah he can score a hat trick. The best thing I did this season was decide not to touch this soul destroying team again. Some things are more important than FPL points and not wanting to jump out of the window after watching them play is one of them.

Watching games when you have Kane has to be one of the most soul destroying things in fantasy footy.

Get forward! When he's 50 yards from goal pretending to be Beckham.

90% of goals from pens too.

Yet he's the second highest scorer in the game and only 27 behind Haaland, who is probably the best player a single FPL season has seen alongside early Salah.

Except we have captained Haaland for most of the season which doubles the points we got from him. Kane barely ever get more than one return. Which makes him fine to own over long term but on a free hit away to Newcastle is not maxizing the chip whatsoever.

I guess it's different for different people. I'm trying to block the guy below me, who has Kane but no FH. I'm covering his big hitters and then getting in the like of Salah and TAA.
