Fantasy Premier League 22/23

Keep a track of Darwin's fitness.

Klopp says they have to check on Darwin Nunez's fitness.

"We will see," says the Liverpool manager.

That's not great, but have to play him v Forest.
Then potentially can lose the week after.

Yeah don't be like me not captaining Haaland against United, losing 23 points and dropping OR from 950k to 3M. Still recovering from that. :(
Same. It's fecked my season and with team so similar and Haaland being a perma cap, it's really hard to gain ground...

Finally played WC:

Pickford
Cancelo
- Gomez - Saliba - Trippier - Williams
Saka - Zaha - Foden - Martinelli - Andreas
Haaland - Kane - Darwin
Plan is to take out Saliba and Saka for Dalot and Bowen in 2 weeks, but that is flexible.

A bit of a gamble on Darwin, but we'll see. Anyone got any opinions? Would be much appreciated!

Not a big fan of Pickford but other than that, looks decent. Fairly template but that's not a bad thing.

Appreciate you! Yh tbh I did it all and then realised it's very template, but i'm 90k atm OR so happy to just ride it till the WC for now. Think Darwin will be my biggest risk really.

Pickford, agree in a way, but tbh I just wanted a keeper for the next 4 games and he looked the best pick game wise.

Keep an eye on Darwin, he might be injured. He's a minutes risk even when fit so any injury and I would steer clear.

Would give him Forest away, after that bin him.

Its just a lot easier to do it while I’ve got unlimited transfers, but I know what you’re saying. If I want to move the funds forward to Kane for example, I’ll only have him for two weeks.

I guess I could take a punt on Bruno after the Chelsea game. Good fixtures and no Ronaldo.

Everton are comically bad though. I'd back them to lose 3/4 of these final games. Might sneak a point vs Leicester.

Also feel like Leeds at home (and at night) next week is a way better game for Liverpool than Forest away. Tempted to cap Salah for that. I won't, but tasty game. Defo keep Darwin for that.

Yeah, the Forest game being an early KO can be an anti-climax, the turn around between the WHU and NFO games is 63 hours and Klopp has said in the past that he needs at least 72 hours for player recovery. Given the fact that the opponent is an easy one, they could just heavily rotate in this game. I'm a little concerned about Salah starting in this as well, as he's played back to back 90s on Sunday and Wednesday, with the first one being a high intensity game vs City.

Not let in more than two in a match.. unlike some sides

Pickford has two less FPL points than De Gea.

Id still pick Palace or Brentford goalie over Pickford (theyve got proper length arms for a start) but their defenders are cheap options compared to alts at same price/worse fixtures (I’ve made my def change now.. not Everton :))

Yeah - there's no consistent whipping boy this year. Flips between someone for two weeks. Fulham - Bournemouth - Southampton - Forrest. Leeds now I reckon. They are in absolute crisis.

Had one of the worst FPL moments ever last night. I was watching Arsenal vs. PSV and decided to transfer Saka in for the round. Literally the second I lifted my eyes to the TV screen, he was on the ground injured

I know he may still be available for the weekend, but....

Did the same was either Foden or Saka and thought it’s gotta be Saka, knock straight away..

Have a current back three of Schar, Trippier and Saliba.

Not sure whether to bring Dalot off the bench for Schar? Really fancy us tomorrow at Chelsea.

Planning to get Xhaka or Odegaard in. Thoughts ? Saka is doubtful and not taking chances

I'd go Saka if the funds stretch that far. Think Saka and Foden are the 2 you'd most want in the whole game after Haaland at the min
Saka may not start. Odegaard is a shoe in after being rested.

Zaha to Foden essential this week do you reckon? Or can it wait a week?

Dalot looked insane v Tottenham, like real top class. Up and down, passing excellent, got forward.

If he carries on there, we've suddenly sorted a position out for a good time slot.

Could be a good call. Especially with Trippier in there too.
Pope does tend to get a lot more save points than Ward, although somehow Ward still got 3 bonus yesterday!

Zaha to Foden is my big debate,.
I think he's shite, equal with Henderson but have to play the fixtures?

And as you say, will get points from The Time wasters via Trippier if they keep a CS.

FodIN is done. Hurts to have three City and no United but a wise man once said separate head and heart in FPL.

Which two out of Antony, Firmino and Bowen? Have Bowen on the bench after the fecker missed penalty last game, but not sure if Antony is going to get any returns against a packed Chelsea defence.

Pope
Cancelo Perisic Saliba
Zaha Martinelli Foden Andreas
Haaland Kane Mitrovic

Bench: Rashford, Trippier, Neco Williams

Benching Rashford and playing Pereira
Benching Trippier for Perisic

Good/Bad

for what its worth FFScout have Firmino not starting currently. I think he’ll start though. Their line up is kinda crap without

Hmmm. Makes sense in a way. Salah, Nunez and F. Carvalho can be their front 3 with Klopp looking to rotate against Forest. Not sure what to go for here. Every decision this season has backfired so far.

Why bench the highest scoring defender in the game so far?
