Fantasy Premier League 22/23

I have the exact money to do Cancelo + Foden to Thiago Silva and Salah.
Feels a bit knee jerky though and id lose 0.4m.

I wouldnt be able to get them back in without a hit as well.
 
What a shit gameweek this has turned into. Now I have 5 players to take out for the Arse/City blank along with injuries to Martial and James. Free Hit coming up me thinks. :(

And I bought Jota at 90 mins in the City game and gets injured in the 96th minute.

Yeah I broke one of the main rules in FPL, but with it being a mid week deadline I wanted to get my transfers done tonight as I'm busy the next few days.
 
What striker to go with Toney and Haaland now? Not Kane because I've just brought in Salah to captain him. Turning James into a cheap defender so I have the money to bring in Foden in 13 and Saka in 14.

Mitrovic, Solanke, Welbeck? Someone else? Got be Mitro hasn't it?
 
Could have been worse I've seen some managers bench Alisson for Ward.
 
The worst thing about this game week is that it looks like Salah might be back to being a threat.
If he starts hauling again we'll all have to do some major surgery.

Maddison and Zaha looked much-needed a few weeks ago, now i want them both gone. Sigh. Saka defo this weekend. Mount flying under the radar.

Why would you even do it after the game, and not just before the deadline?

Was just a dumb move but getting injured within 5 mins of transferring him in is rediculous :lol:. See above why I did it.

For those of us who don't have him?

If Jota is out, surely Nunez has to start, and he slots in for Jesus? Captaining would feel so risky though, looking at his appalling decision making today.

Eurgh. That's not a nice thought. It's becoming more and more obvious that as people suspected, Nunez is kryptonite to Salah as an fpl option. Forces him out wide. He works perfectly with Firmino.
 
Despite all my mistake this year and doing horrible I also seem to not get as annoyed. I think knowing that everyone will keep making Haaland captain takes away realistic chance of climbing the ranks so I'm less invested.

Problem this year is pretty much everyone actively playing has near enough identical teams. I'm in a 25 team league and never seen such a small gap between top and bottom.

It's pretty boring so far

Surely that knowledge makes it easier to climb ranks if you bet against him at the right time?

I know what you mean about this season though. Just finding it a bit meh. Usually I spend ages planning transfers in advance and checking team news on the day but now I just lock in early and forget about it.

Yeah but he's such a beast that it really hurts you. I fecked up my season by not making him Captain against United.

You could always still pick city players and keep them on the bench, also transfer one in for gw 13.

If I use the WC now I'll keep Saliba Martinelli and Haaland on the bench as I will lose a lot of value by selling. But yeah I'll have a transfer to use for GW 13.

Personally I would rather use the wildcard then take a - 8, it's better to use it sooner rather than later as we are getting closer to the wc break.

How much value have you gained on Saliba? Didn't realise he had risen so much? I've been totally ignoring arsenal defence.
 
Feck the haaland Captain templaters.
Risking Kane Captain and a Haaland blank was worth it.

Could have gone horrible wrong obviously :wenger:

Yeah it's just my rival is getting all the luck. Like last week Castagne comes off right before Leicester concede for example. But yeah dunno what to do next week. Might just leave it and go with 10 men as there's no one I can bring in for Maddy who I want beyond that week...

Gained 0.6 on Saliba and 0.7 on Martinelli and Haaland
 
ffs. Had Raya on bench (Sanchez starting), Trippier and Andreas on bench as well. Literally could have finished on with a significant green arrow instead of a red one had I got even some of these decisions right (maybe even 1)
