I thought that but who do you get?

Salah - worth it if you will Captain him but I'm sticking with Kane because Haaland is my Captain.

Diaz - injured.

Firminho - meh

Jota & Darwin - minutes risks.
 
I decided to use my Free Hit for GW12 some weeks ago. The reasoning behind it was that I wanted to keep 5-6 Arsenal and City players for weeks 9-11 and to then have them back for GW13. To me, it looks like they could continue to haul due to the fixtures from then on up to the world cup.

As opposed to adjusting the team for GW12 over several GWs and then using a Wild Card for GW13 instead, how do you see this choise? Would an earlier WC have been a better use for a chip?
 
I in my infinite wisdom, put Martial in the starting lineup with Toney on the bench(1st substitute). Now with Martial not playing at all, it should automatically substitute in Toney right? Can anyone confirm?

Rashford benched along with all my hopes of a green arrow. Very frustrating as he was looking very dangerous the last few games.

Do you still have the wildcard? You only have until the world cup to use it, so definitely do that rather than the free hit.
 
Punting and jumping in on Kepa could go down as one of my top moves.... 7 saves already :lol: (and last weeks clean sheet)

I've replaced KdB with Salah after all my noises about not buying him. He's hopefully back in his form after his CL hattrick and hopefully Klopp keeps him closer to goal as he did against Rangers instead of reviving the closer-to-the-touchline experiment.
 
I'm waiting until the games today but yeah likely Salah back in for Maddison. And then both James and Jesus out for someone. -8 and still only leaves me with 10 (assuming they all play) :(
 
Gotta love these City games ... it's essentially Foden vs KdB as everyone has Cancelo and Haaland :lol:

Which is why it was ludicrous when I gave a work colleague advice what to do (remove 2 injured/suspended defenders, bring 2 cheapies in), then realised she'd done a free hit in error!

Meaning a loss of the extra free transfer, the waste of a chip - on bringing Dalot/Palace defender in, and still had the same 2 injury/suspensions to deal with this week :lol:
 
I was going to bring Dalot in, but went Dunk instead.
But in the end had Trippier playing for 6, and Ramsdale for 10, so it all sort of worked that end.

Just a shame Bamford missed his pen outright rather than it being saved.

If Rashy had steered that header a couple of centimetres difference it would have been a wise call.

I took him out this week and was still imploring a goal.
Might put him back in for Maddison for -4 though, as he's definitely the man getting the chances, even if he's missing a few.
 
Knew City would be useless.

At least i didnt move mountains to bring in Cancelo

I feel your pain. Bringing in Cucurella was a horrible decision, James, fofana, martial all injured. Maddison suspended next gw. City and arse players to get rid of. I give up.
 
The Salah goal helped me a bit

I didn't gain much in overall rank but I'm happy with a positive overall score.

My concern now is everyone will be bringing in Salah
Oh and damn that Nunez. Salah could have had 3 goals if Nunez knew how to pass a ball. Klopp needs to bench Nunez until after the World Cup

Maddison to Salah for GW12 is an absolute no brainer. I will have a full 11 too without hits unless there's some shock selections.
