Well the post wording implied Haaland and Kane weren’t an option so just gave some alts.
Given blank week for City and Arsenal (which rules out lots of usual suspects) and looking at fixtures (Palace have Wolves, at home), just mentioned as an option… one of three.
I know people tend to look down on taking a hit the week before a wildcard, but I’m probably going to do the same. I mean worst case scenario it’s 4 points, likely scenario it’s 2 points.

Yea, not a lot of good options out there. Tried to big up on Newcastle and Brighton because they are at home to Everton and Forest respectively.
You can upgrade the midfield to get Son in but do we really want to get 2 Spurs attackers, especially when Son has not been in great form? The other decent options are from Chelsea I would think.
The strikers speak for themselves. Who would you rather change ? Maybe only Mitrovic comes in for any one of them.
Don't get me wrong I just meant it's team I'd only want for a Free Hit. Slim pickings out there this week and that's probably as good as you'll get. Are you gonna regret not having it later in the season though when the big blank happens...?
Yea still in 2 minds about it. If I don't use free hit I'll only have 8 players on the pitch with one of them being Martial.
Edit: Can do one FT to get 9 out. Don't fancy 3 United options against Spurs but better to just roll with it rather than wasting free hit I guess.
I'm not precious I'm just indecisive. I've not been making too many moves or taking too many hits and have been doing well. I did my WC a few weeks ago and it hasn't worked out great at all. Turns out I can only field 9 this week with my 1 transfer (Martial to Mitrovic) so I think I will go Maddison to Trossard.
If Martial's fit and plays a blinder...

Think free-hit is also not the move at all this week even if you can only field six (just get the cap right). It's gonna be massive later on with the doubles

It’s an odd one this season, with the top two teams (with lots of FPL options) blanking at the same time. In other seasons, you just navigate around it and use your bench/tfrs but if ever there was a season to use it earlier, this could be it. I’m not.

It's a time to use it if you're absolutely on your arse (e.g. less than 9 nailed on starters), but otherwise its make do and carry on (and I have 12 available!).
The fact the 'best' two teams are blanking in the same GW should surely feed into the notion it'll be a relatively low scoring affair in GW12?
Could easily outscore a team of 11 or reach relative parity with only 9 this GW.
Any reason why Guehi is the preferred defender from Palace and not Ward or Andersen? Apart from the 0.2m difference in the price.

I might well do Maddo to Rashy for a -4 for the same sentiments. In effect a 2 point hit, but every chance of coming out higher.
Mitro or Firmy seem to be my choices to sub for Jesus.
Mitro I've never had points out of, whilst Liverpool's fixtures look quite worrying, with Diaz and Jota out, he surely plays? And this year has been getting a few hauls so may counter the risk of no Salah - which would take ripping up of the team structure to get.
Ive got 5.I'm fecked. Can't get enough players out without taking a hit and even then it would cost more to get them back in. I've only got 8 players able to get points and one of them is Martial

Maddison to Trossard for a week with a -4 is what I've done. There doesn't seem to be many options around and I don't really trust Rashford yet.
Looks like you can only field 9, so might as well take the Trossy punt. Minimal risk really, 2 points. And literally even 1 assist is back in credit.
Plus it's more fun having more options who could haul.
I was weighing up a Firmy and Rashy -4 for Jesus and Maddison.
Could stretch to Nunez, but that'd rule out Foden next week by a cruel 0.1m. Unless I look elsewhere to Rashy.
