Fantasy Premier League 22/23

Huh? I was responding to you saying you were getting rid of Cancelo, Jesus and KDB, taking hits for injured players and wildcarding after GW12. Imo people with a wildcard in hand have a massive advantage if they use it in GW12 as you can bench 4 from Arsenal/City, get out a full playing 11 and immediately bring Foden in the following week followed by your 3rd Arsenal player the week after.

But you do what you want. I'm taking hits in 12 or Free Hitting as will many others be so the less people that take advantage of that the better.

Yes I do see your point and I am stuck in a dilemma now what to do haha
I can only bench three though as I have Sanchez / Ward as goalies and would rather have someone else than Ramsdale but yeah maybe WC after this round is smart and use my two free transfers now on Reece James (injured) and either Bailey / Mitro.

But getting rid of three for free and WC after week 12 and getting all in again is also taking advantage of a WC

Been tossing and turning on the Reece James replacement.

Fulham is a bad call. Cucurella doesn't excite. Koulibaly? Yeah, no. Could do Cresswell, but I'm now really feeling Doherty.

I'm gonna go with Doherty. Anyone else gonna go with him?

Any news on Mitrovic?

What to do?

ederson
James - Gabriel - trippier
DeBruyne - carvalho - trossard - martinelli - Andreas
Kane - Haaland

subs
Kelleher - cucerella - undav - digne

bank: 0.2m
1 free transfer, 1 wildcard
Bench boost, free hit, triple captain available

James and digne the injuries
EDIT
Swapped James out already for Cucerella
Transfered digne out and got Dalot

Ok, run the wildcard and settled on this for now.

RAMSDALE WARD
CANCELO TRIPPIER DIER GUEHI DALOT
MADDISON ZAHA MARTINELLI TROSSARD ANDREAS
KANE HAALAND JESUS.

0.6m spare

Questions
1)Safer to move Jesus out now to a Toney or someone, keeping the free transfer flexible, rather than having to be an Arsenal player out, in case something unexpected happens, Maddo yellow, someone else injured?
2)Risk a higher ceiling Tottenham defender?
3)Better bet than Dalot? On 4 bookings.

This is for my draft, so price not an issue.

Trossard Vs Brentford or Mount vs Villa?

Trossy is looking pretty good isn't he? 4 goals in 3 games with the 3rd a blank facing ultra defensive Tottenham.

Brentford away and Forest at home next 2.

Bailey is fit apparently btw. Still shit mind but at least fit.

I would lose Jesus now yes and hide behind the sofa as you're booking in a transfer you might need like you say if Maddison gets booked.

And yeah makes sense to avoid Dalot if he's on 4 as well. Maybe a Brighton or Wolves defender.

Struggling with this James replacement. The fun pick would be Doherty but I can't afford it to backfire with GW12 round the corner. Guehi, Dier or Dunk much less sexy but seem more sensible

Live a little, go Shaw.

Switched Dalot to Dunk. Brighton play Nottingham Forest next week which surely is a decent cleany chance - as long as he doesn't goon a red tonight. Though he's not picked up a yellow yet!
Means I'll probably start Trippier over Guehi and then Dunk. Cover that assist/goal or even cleany threat!

Can't quite risk Jesus v Leeds. If Maddison gets a yellow or something else unforeseen crops up, I'll just 10 man it, or -4.

feck it. James to Cucurella for -4. Would need a -4 next week anyway so might as well do it now. This season is a wreck.

Absolute last one.

Stick with Zaha with his fixtures or move back to Rashy despite 3 difficult games. Although he has scored in both Arsenal and Liverpool games so far.

It's a nightmare. I have 3 City, 1 arsenal, Fofana and James red, Mitrovic uncertain and Emerson shite

It did sound like Mitrovic was nearly ready last week and should be fairly certain this week when I looked at it last week?

Rolling with this. If Coufal doesn't play so be it. The options are shite.

Pope
Trippier Cancelo Coufal
Maddison Zaha Martinelli KDB
Haaland Mitrovic Wilson

Iverson Andreas Neco James

Good luck all.

I’d stick. I’d say Rashford is likely to get a rest in the next three games after playing mid week.

Is there anything on Jesus? Wasn’t he a risk but he’s not flagged at all?

Ta.that Euro effect is worth bearing in mind.
And Tott and Chelsea will probably be tight games.
Zaha we all know is a 2 point merchant quite often but every often will put a 15 pointer in.

Jesus seems to be fine. Not mentioned as a doubt anywhere. Think I read he didn't travel after his knocks in the last league game, elbow etc, just for a break rather than it ruling him out.

First of all I would like to thank everyone who contributes to this forum. Its my first season playing this version of Fantasy Football and although im doing ok, i really need the advice I'm reading

Enjoying it as I am, I am a little confused as to the Wildcard play? Is this effectively an entire new team selection for 1 GW only? With GW12 in particular looking good to use it due to Arsenal and City not playing?

Thanks in advance

They've taken FPL page down to make changes

An hour before the first game of the weekend begins and everything locked in.

Edit - back up

Replaced the rampaging but often disappointing Reece James with the solid and dependable Lewis Dunk.

Dunky OG and red card tonight fellas

Only positive - i have 2 FTs going into GW12, which should hopefully mean I can field 11

Slightly beginning to hate the options available - except City and Arse its all a big roll with a random dice the next gameweeks

Couldn't decide between Dunk and Webster or between Guehi and Andersen. Would have undoubtedly picked the wrong one so instead went Doherty

How the hell did Trossy score a hattrick at Anfield!?
Barely noticing him tonight. Although that's probably the classic over watching your own players routine.
