Fantasy Premier League 22/23

Just jogging, probably an hour to 90mins.
Racing/hard effort I always leave 3 hours.

(Used to regularly come a cropper mistiming the first line in my earlier days :) )
Ta. Been about 90 so probably go soon, still some (weak) sunshine outside.

I definitely jog not race :)

Did my first sub 30 min 5k a couple of weeks ago. Was quite happy until a woman who works with my wife said she did the London marathon in 3hrs 38m, which is just over 5m/km :( (probably your pace?).

More about distance for me than time though .. up to 14k this year, trying to get to regular 10ks and take it from there.

Fair play. In my league every cnut has him.
I was surprised his TSB was that low t.b.f. Most of the Caf league has him, especially at the top 10 or so but a couple in the top 20 don’t which will cost them.

Some players you just have to pick. Mainly because they’re good and score points but also because if you don’t and they kill it, you lose so much to so many.

35 points from City players today. Ergghh.

It really is all relative with racing.

I did a sub 29 minute 5mile race last weekend at over 40, but I've got a mate who was 46 last year who did a 15.46 5k!
Similarly, that marathon time you quote was bettered by a vet 60 woman at my club by 5mins! My peers are doing sub 3s, that's the benchmark for male club runners.

However, I also enjoy hearing another mate's progression. He's doing 50mins or so for 10k, but is beating that in solo training runs, so he's at the start of his progression. You'll find the same, just put a bit more in, progressively built up, and your times will drop.

ps what thread is this again :D

I'm definitely going to have to get Cancelo in after City's blank, or possibly after the World Cup. My squad value is 102.4m so that should help move players around during the WC unlimited transfers phase.

59 with Martial, Rashford and Martinelli to play.

Took a big gamble on Martial starting feel I should have just played safe but top of my ML and up to top 47,000 now.

So is Foden more of a premium than De Bruyne now with his 10 goal contributions? It'd be certainly nice to save 4m.

Went for Wilson despite all the advice in here. Had cock almost in hand when I seen they had scored 5 only to learn that he only contributed with 1 fecking assist

Still, four goal contributions in five games is food for though. I might bring him in til Mitrovic is back. What was the advice against buying him; his injury record I presume?

Injury record and just general troll like behaviour. I think he will score goals if he stays fit. Mitrovic isn't worth transferring out I don't think as he will be ready for Bournemouth if he isn't fit today

I think I’ll go KdB for Foden after GW12 and then go onemium.
At first seemed wild, but there’s so many good performers in the 7-8.3 range when the fixtures swing around GW12. Jesus, Diaz, Foden, Trent

I think a lot of people will be on this strategy. I am certainly leaning that way. Foden saves you over 3m too.

Not sure about Trent though personally. Think he's been found out a bit now defensively.

He definitely has, so Im mostly viewing Trent as a midfielder with potential for an assist or a goal a game. That would essentially make him like Zaha with the added bonus of a clean sheet if Liverpool ever get one again. 7.3 is quite alright value for that given his fixtures from gw12 I think

Ahhh, that's good news! Cheers for the heads up.

Dropped Mitrovic for Wilson

53 points with Salah and Ramsey to play.

Missed all the matches yesterday because I got hired to do photography for a local newspaper, first photo journalism gig in 8 years.
No surprise, Mitrovic is out this weekend.

I dropped Mitrovic for Martial.

Nearly put in Daka but figured for a one week punt it would make the game more fun too!

feck I put Neco as first sub when I thought I had Andreas ffs I just can't catch a break.

They clearly worked on taking Zaha out of the game by having people cutting him off when he tried to go inside on his right. Seems to have got an assist anyway when I changed the channel though.

Left Emerson as second sub with Pereira third (injured Patterson first), like a complete and utter feck face. Moyes done me a solid bringing him on for the last 3 minutes for the big one pointer. Only hope is Baily is out as well as Mitrovic. Cock it.
