Fantasy Premier League 21/22

Yeah I'm a bit torn.

Foster I probs won't actually do...

Havertz/Broja.

Broja definitely getting sold.

I can either get Nketiah... which is nice and simple...

Or get Richarlison, who has a lot to play for and two decent fixtures but I lose Havertz... But Havertz not going to play both games most likely...

So it's Martinelli + Richarlison (-4) better than Nketiah + Havertz (no hit)?

Do Nketiah and Gordon.

I have Martinelli and looking to sell him. Mainly as he's a rotation risk. He can come good in the Leeds game if he starts. I will get Gordon instead especially if you are already covered on arsenal with Saka. Gordon is fully nailed and looks like one of their key players.
Do Nketiah and Gordon.
I'll consider Gordon thanks. Slightly hesitant as I'm FH 37 so will have to use them last game against the arse, who may still be playing for 4th.

Did you not use FH In 33 as well?
Yes I did. What a fail. Would have got like 20 points more if I hadn't

I considered FH this upcoming week but after City played 120 plus pool and the chavs got a final coming up and pool also played UCL AND Leicester playing in Europe, it feels like a troll week...

I have the same option. Can go up to getting Cancelo and Rich for those two.

If you had to sell one out of Robertson or James for a city def which would you go for?

Tough one.

I guess both are likely to start once this week, Robertson v Spurs and James probably v Wolves. Of the two James has the highest upside from those games, you'd think. And selling Robertson would presumably leave you with slightly more money itb for the next two weeks? And James has two home games in 37/38. So maybe keep him.

Yeah. On the same page.

Can't bring myself to sell either of Robertson or James. Yes they could be benched for a game but so could anyone you bring in and these two are just as likely to haul in one fixture as anyone else.

Waiting on Richarlison news to move Weggy to him.

Pros and cons of a FH week 36 rather than 37 people? Doubles in 36 in caps

RAMSDALE Dubravka
JAMES TAA RUDIGER CASH HOLGATE
KULU SAKA SALAH RAMSAY GORDON
Ronaldo Toney Weigy

No City, no Chelsea attackers, no Son or Kane, but could play 10 doublers and then do Ronaldo to Kane

Week 37 seems to be Everton & Villa with the best doubles. Is a free hit worth it just for those games, and maybe some Burnley, Leicester & Palace away action?

In the above scenario, surely week 36 is the better play, to get Son, Kane, Havertz, Cancelo, Ederson and one other City in there?
@CassiusClaymore @Dirty Schwein @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson @Moby @Samid @Cutch @Dan_F

Sorry, late on this as I’ve been on holiday. Same issue for myself. I’ve been planning to FH 36, but now I’m doubting myself after seeing I have 13 DGW players for 36.

That said, I don’t think the doubles are as strong in 37 and I’ve already got x2 Villa, Zaha, as well as players from the strong single fixtures like x2 Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs.

In summary, I think a lot more damage can be done attacking with a FH in 36 by having lots of City, Chelsea etc as well as a strong, but cheap bench.

Yep. And as the final definite for this, a rival about 20 points below me who I simply must beat is doing his bench boost.
I'm certain he won't get 15 doublers, so I definitely need to be on the biggest ceiling doublers.

City now have to be hell bent on this double, so will definitely get 3 of their boys in.
Ederson, Cancelo and one to be confirmed. Mahrez or Jesus maybe are high ceiling high risk types.

Robertson's a beast. Form of his life. Can't see him getting rested at all now at this point in the season, the title is on the line ffs! More likely that Tsimikas starts the FA Cup final.

Personally don't like Everton this week. Away games aren't exactly their cup of tea - no matter the stakes. 37 on a free hit is when I'll get Richarlison and Pickford. Then get forget about them again for 38. Also think Chelsea rotation is overstated - Havertz + Alonso start both, Havertz in particular needs to be played into form and these games are perfectly set up for him.

How do you manage to save these free hits haha. I always blow my chips on the first doubles or blanks.

Captains people??

I was 40 points clear until the weekend when the guy behind me got 97! Now 17 behind but I have a bb and fh, he has nowt. Bb this week and fh next week, hoping City don't kill me

No thoughts of FH 38?
Nah feck that. The line ups are too unpredictable. Also, can't be dealing with the stress of trying to find leaked line ups. I'd rather have a chilled one

This has helped ease my fears a lot.

I've never really needed them to be honest. Even now I'm only using them for the sake of it.

The title was also on the line when Klopp rested Trent and Salah in the same match just last week, both more important players to the side than Robertson. I wouldn't weigh that as decisive in Robertson not getting rested.

Yeah. Can see Robertson and Mane get a rest this GW.

Robertson got taken off a bit early in UCL so might be ok to play at least 60-70 minutes. Spurs is probably Pool's final banana skin, he will for sure make that. Then the other one is anyone's guess.

But will City play Cancelo two games after a 120? Or Foden? No Chelsea player is safe as they got cup final etc. Most players in the big teams will get rested most likely.

I think TAA and Salah plays twice which is a huge worry for me without them both. I got away with it last two weeks, but feel I need to bring in TAA at least.

My personal team has 3 Chelsea and all are risky. I am going to remove the wrong one for sure.

Apparently TAA got taken off at the same time the game before his rest as well.

But you're right, I'd expect him to play Spurs. It's the Villa game right before the cup final that's the danger.

The bold is why I'm opting for Salah(c) rather than something more risky. At least we know him and TAA have had their rest last week.

Trent was also taken off early before he was rested although admittedly that week was tighter and I always saw that Newcastle game as the one where they would rest players especially as Klopp had put an official request to move it from the early kick off time slot.

For this one yeah Robbo plays Spurs for sure but that doesn't look like a nailed clean sheet (although as hot as Son is I think Liverpool at home are beasts and Spurs before Leicester game went two games without a shot). But think he gets rested for the villa game. It's right before the cup final. Tsimikas is decent and villa don't have any dangerous right winger. Plus it's fecking slippy G who will be letting Liverpool roll over them.

With Cancelo I don't think pep has many options and unlike Liverpool City have nothing else to play for so think they just play their best team for the remaining games. Unless he goes for like Zinchenko and Stones as fullbacks.. I doubt it.

Are you new to FPL @Moby ? It's fecking Pep. He'll play Fernandinho and Scott Carson as fullbacks just to feck with us all.

Hey guys. For GW37 team below, should I keep the FH for GW38? I feel like 4 DGWs is not enough but when I have 3 LIV, 2 CITY, and James plus Sa at home vs Norwich, I’m starting to think that FH GW38 is better. I would have Saka for GW38 instead of Coutinho if I decide to FH in GW37.

I'm going to gamble and bring in Maddison for Havertz (Also for the double back to backs), for a -4.

But.. my main rival has son and I don't. I can do: ESR and Kane to Son and Watkins for a total -12. Seems a bit backwards, but would mean I don't need another hit all season, and Watkins has the double back to backs compared to ESR, which makes up for it a bit..

Any suggestions? Feels wrong taking a -12 but feel it might leave me better placed.

feck it I made my changes (-4). BB played (DGW in bold):

Ramsdale
TAA, Cancelo, Alonso, Matip
Salah (c), Coutinho, Saka, Kulusevski, Havertz
Kane

Subs: Foster, Davies, Nketiah,
Mateta

Jacob Ramsey a 'big doubt' according to Gerrard. Should I take a -4 hit to switch him for Antony Gordon or just start Ben Davies?

Jesus in.

Need to bench one of Watkins, Coutinho or Kulu. Despite what @Dirty Schwein thinks Watkins is good for 90 in every game so I think he has to go in. All the models say bench Kulu and he does have the tougher fixtures but I fancy him against Arsenal whereas I don't fancy anything from Coutinho or Villa really against the scousers. What say you?

Ramsdale
Cancelo (c) James Robertson
Saka Mane Kulu Gordon
Jesus Kane (vc) Watkins

Subs : Foster, Coutinho, Amartey, Schar

Correct?

Edit: Just seen that Ramsey is out which could mean Countinho playing as a 10 with Ings and Watkins as 9's. Hmm, tricky.

I would bench one of the villa lads. Arsenal v spurs can result be high scoring. Slippy will roll over for pool so you're only getting one fixture.

Between Coutinho and Watkins, the former has the highest ceiling but the latter is the safest pick for minutes.

Yeah that's exactly my thoughts mate. If Ings is back in then Watkins won't be on pens so maybe take a punt with the ceiling pick instead? Nothing to lose now.

That absolutely seals my decision to do a FH i think!

Free hit templates lads? Budget of about 102m.

Need a big one as 4th to 13th in my league is all so close, and I'm holding 6th in name only really!!

The world is your oyster. I'd say a template would be something like Schmeichel, TAA, Cancelo, Dias/Laporte (prefer double City defence to a Chelsea defender who might only play 1 game), Salah, Son, Saka, Gordon, Maddison (more chance of playing both now I guess), Richarlison, Nketiah.

Somthing like that. If you've got the funds maybe a City attacker instead of Maddison or Richarlison.
