Pros and cons of a FH week 36 rather than 37 people? Doubles in 36 in caps

Week 37 seems to be Everton & Villa with the best doubles. Is a free hit worth it just for those games, and maybe some Burnley, Leicester & Palace away action?

In the above scenario, surely week 36 is the better play, to get Son, Kane, Havertz, Cancelo, Ederson and one other City in there?

I think they are also a bit worried about the consequences as a ban to him can possibly relegate Everton as he's their main goalscorer. Obviously shouldn't be a factor if he's done something wrong just feel that's playing on their minds a bit. If it isn't 100% conclusive it would probably go unpunished.

It's tough but you have to remember, spurs have a difficult double, Chelsea will rotate due to fa cup, pool may also. Pep is gonna pep. This double will most likely be a trap. If I didn't have other things to do, I'd get rid of Havertz.

Just get a DGW striker and your set.

GW37 didn't have to be solely dgw players. You can get Salah, TAA and Robertson for example for a great sgw triple up...

Think with that squad I'd be tempted to do it in 36. Nailing the right players from the best teams has better upside than getting the obvious names from Villa and Everton who aren't as reliable - and given those names are so limited a lot would anyway have Coutinho, Cash, Richarlison etc. The advantage with teams with more assets is that you have a bigger pool to select from and nail the right ones (and equally the chance to feck it up like it happened with Sterling over Jesus in 34 :lol:)

I don't have any City and trying to find ways to get at least two. I do have Kane though Son is the one to have. Think if you can get 3 City, 3 Liverpool plus Son it would have more upside compared to that many from Villa, Everton etc. Your Chelsea players are also likely SGW players this week, this Tuchel takes the whole team out vs Leeds which is 2 days before the cup final.

I think it's not that bad, and one of my options involves tripling up on their attack. That's probably too much but I would definitely have at least one attacker, preferably Son. Liverpool at Anfield usually keep a CS but they won't stop playing a high line and Son can take on Trent with a few chances.

But it's the North London Derby for me which could possibly be the decider on who gets Europe (although if Liverpool beats Spurs, they might be too far out of it) but it being a derby plus a possible decider, both teams will have to go for it and neither of them have a great defense. I am finding it tough to sell their assets which would have to be done if I need City mids for example. Even Martinelli if he starts vs Leeds and that Emerson Royal guy can return.

Yep, I think you're bang on.
This is the time to really try and maximise the big hitters, and there's a lot.

City coverage is a must, and I think Ederson for one is a certainty.

Assuming two City players are Ederson and Cancelo, who is the attacker? Taking KDB is a costly risk.

Yep, way too expensive when also trying to fit in the likes of Son and Salah.

Foden as per above a decent shout. Maybe Jesus given his recent hauls.
 
Feels like just having 11 DGWers this week leaves me open to be outscored by all those playing chips. Weighing up whether I need to be more aggressive and move off Salah(c) as a result to try and beat them on that front. Cancelo(c) maybe...

I have the same problem yet I have a full set of DGWers. I'll probably FH in 37 as it stands unless I get injuries.
 
Is Salah must have for GW36? I am freehitting, so he is not being sold, but always get scared to drop him.

Yeah I'm considering getting in Jota for Salah too (badly need the differential). KDB rather than Son, in my case.

Jota is starting tonight, so I just don't know if he will play the doubles. Mane has been playing every game lately as well. Will monitor if he plays the full 90 or scores. The other option is Foden, but I feel Liverpool attack needs to be covered.

Remember they still have to play the semi second leg first.
He can either get injured or knackered in that. With every chance he misses 1 of the double.

Sure but we'll get updates on that before the deadline.

Im counting on KdB until proven injured. He's probably their most important player

going for players in defence with potential both ways. Jota starting today has made me throw him out as I'm not sure who will get most minutes of him and Diaz with a final coming up against Chelsea. Keeping Salah is a maintaining move to play it semi-safe now im in 20k

I'm TC'ing him I think. BB is gonna require me going like -16 to get anything remotely reasonable, it's just not worth it.... I'll just work into it for 37 or maybe even 38.

He said something similar recently as well no? Was it after our game? He was going crazy to get a goal at the end of the game tonight. He's definitely starving for it.
 
So City out of CL which is great. Now they can win the league over Pool.

So KDB got subbed early. Injury? I think not he just had a poor game.
Just how confident are we in him starting both games?

I probably keep him, but captain someone safe like Son if I get him.

Foden and Bernardo playing full games. Maybe they get rested, but the fact they did not get subbed may indicate good fitness.

Or mix it all together:

Thoughts?

The third move is tricky as I have 0.0 in the bank at the end so I might get priced out of it anyway...

Currently loosely thinking Robertson + Weghorst > Laporte + Richarlison.

Havertz/Broja.

Broja definitely getting sold.

I can either get Nketiah... which is nice and simple...

Or get Richarlison, who has a lot to play for and two decent fixtures but I lose Havertz... But Havertz not going to play both games most likely...

So it's Martinelli + Richarlison (-4) better than Nketiah + Havertz (no hit)?

I have Martinelli and looking to sell him. Mainly as he's a rotation risk. He can come good in the Leeds game if he starts. I will get Gordon instead especially if you are already covered on arsenal with Saka. Gordon is fully nailed and looks like one of their key players.
