Fantasy Premier League 21/22

Slowly now gravitating towards a FH.... Come up with the following team:

Ederson
TAA Cancelo Holgate
Salah (C) Saka KDB Son Gordon
Richarlison Nketiah

Subs: Steele, Tsimikas, Kelly, Forde :nervous:

That's an interesting take.

Real gamble with zero on the bench., well, maybe Tsim sneaks a game? But does Holgate start both?

No Chelsea defender with Son prioritised is interesting.

Bus Team.

Ramsdale
TAA, Robertson, James, Cash
Salah, Saka, Kulu, Coutinho, Martinelli
Kane

Sanchez, Weghorst, Broja, Dalot

1.2 ITB 1 FT No chips left.

No City is the big issue. Bunch of possible moves, help a brother out @Sandikan @Dirty Schwein @CassiusClaymore @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson @sullydnl @others

Some options (Do suggest if something else):
Free:
Weghorst --> Richarlison, bench Martinelli/Cash, No City.
Ramsdale --> Ederson
Robertson --> Cancelo/Dias/Laporte
James --> Dias/Laporte

-4:
Weghorst, Dalot --> 4.5 fwd, Cancelo, bench Martinelli/Cash.
Robertson, Dalot --> Dias, Laporte, bench Martinelli/Cash.
Robertson, Weghorst --> Dias, Jesus, bench Martinelli/Cash.
Weghorst, Martinelli --> 4.5 fwd, Foden
Robertson, Martinelli --> Dias, Foden
Dalot, Martinelli --> Dias, Gordon, bench Cash.

-8:
Robertson, Martinelli, Weghorst --> Dias, Mahrez, 4.5 fwd
Kane, Martinelli, Robertson --> Richarlison, Mahrez, Dias
Kane, Martinelli, Kulu --> Richarlison, Foden, Mahrez
etc mainly involving selling Kane

Almost identical to yours. Currently, I have Diaz over Kulu with James being downgraded to fund it. Although this may change. I don’t see James playing the easier game against Leeds with the cup final 3 days after.

I will probably play 451 as well, I really like Gordon starting as a differential this week.

I've got it wrong on James repeatedly this season, so I dare say will again this week!

I'm starting with James and Rudiger, and shipping one to Alonso.
It's just whether I do similar to your moves and free up money on Kulu, as if my reasons for no Son apply (bar money!), then they apply to Kulu too.

Who i didn't even realise had only played 30mins last week, i only noticed the 2 assists.

Yeah the zero bench thing is annoying but with the starting XI doubling I guess it's safe?
That said, an alternative to the above is to replace Richarlison with Pukki, and do Holgate to Alonso. Could also set Kelly to Brandon Williams for some bench option.

I prioritised Son because of Liverpool's high backline and Arsenal being defensively suspect of late. Son's already scored against them both this season. I wanted Richarlison, but both of Everton's games are away, where they are a totally different to the one at Goodison. Not that I am expecting any miracles from Pukki, mind!

Robertson, Martinelli --> Dias, Foden
Dalot, Martinelli --> Dias, Gordon, bench Cash.

Kane, Martinelli, Robertson --> Richarlison, Mahrez, Dias
Kane, Martinelli, Kulu --> Richarlison, Foden, Mahrez

Difficult situation.

If you can do Weigy to Richarlison for free, I'd be inclined to do that. Gives you a decent high ceiling doubler.

I wouldn't want to disturb a lot of the rest, as any of those players could haul.

Imagine taking a Kane or someone out for -4 or 08 and they end up outscoring the presumably City gamble!

I suppose only Robertson is pretty likely to only play once isn't he, so he to Cancelo another option to get on City.

Richarlison is highly backed though, and they have huge games. If they score it'll most likely be him involved.
Pukki is a massive downgrade I think.

I think you probably stick with what you had, and hope Holgate plays. I have him too, but definitely benched.

Tough one that mate. Ederson with your ft is safe but boring with a low ceiling which Ramsdale could get with one of his mental bonus point performances in one game.

Robertson to Cancelo feels smart but I'm drawn to the sexier Weghorst & Robertson out for City CB and Jesus for -4. Mainly because Weghorst is dogshit.

None of the -8's interest me. Would wait on Richarlison because I think his second dgw is better and he has question marks over him anyway at the moment.

Yeah I just did a quick check and I have the exact money for

Robertson --> Cancelo
Weghorst --> Richarlison

Bench cash and roll with the rest.

Have a sneaky feeling Richarlison could be a trap, Lampard has talked about his sore ankle and we know ow fragile he is. Imagine him going off in the first game. And then obviously not having a piece of the City attack. Foden, Mahrez, Jesus and of course KDB are all tasty.

Would you rather instead do the two above out for Dias and Jesus? Rich obviously has an extra game over Jesus but City also score more than Everton...

Playing BB so this is for this week only. Likely FH next week.

Thoughts? £1.6m cash, 1 tfr @Moby @Dirty Schwein @Sandikan @Samid @CassiusClaymore

First glance was bin Ramsay (sounds like out) & Hwang (plays but fixtures?) = £11.6m
  • Coutinho / no one good
  • Nketiah and Gallagher, Rodrigo, Gray, Fabinho, McGinn
  • Iheanacho / Brownill
Any of these or alternative and a bigger hit?

Yeah, same here. I think it's tempting to jump on him early and he can easily score vs rested leicester and fecking watford, but I'd rather get a City guy now even if it means doing him to Richarlison if he really looks that good for 37.

Thoughts on this FH team? I've got Holgate, Broja and Tavares on the bench (pure fodder)

I was considering Laporte > Alonso but it makes no difference money wise and I don't want to tempt pep roulette.

That's what made me go Jesus in the end. I can always downgrade to Rich next week. That said I don't get much luck in this game so buyer beware!

No point getting Villa now if you are doing FH37.

I'd probably get a Liverpool attacker in there. Diaz looks like the hot property but they are getting rotated a bit.

I'm on a FH so it's a straight 2 game each decision there.
If you're thinking longer term than Richarlison with more games and a good double next week is strong contender.

He is such a flake though.

That's a given either way. :lol:

Yeah I don't think I'm interested in any of the bigger hits doing Kane out. Kinda comes down to Weghorst to Jesus for -4 or Martinelli to Foden/Mahrez for -8. Guess Jesus looks better, should at least start one.

Defiitely get Nketia in for Hwang.
Then the best you can afford for Ramsey.

Yeah honestly I am getting Dennis vibes here a bit. Everton are a bit shit away from Goodison but the fixtures look tasty. I am just remembering sitting after the deadline looking at this shit striker that I bought because everyone hyped his double, and now sat watching them trying to do something somehow after looking hopeless. :lol:

On the other hand Jesus could not even play a single minute.

Lot of close options I think… some are better but come with a bigger hit (Will they get you that back in remaining three weeks? Maybe).

Maybe Rob/Weg to Dias/Jesus? Now out of CL, having City players seems better, trouble is Bald ”I bottle the CL unless I have a team of goats” Fraud roulette?

To put the whole Jesus or Ricarlison debate off...how's about

Schmeichel (3.9m)
TAA Cancelo Alonso (Holgate, Tsim)
De Bruyne Salah (c) Saka Gordon (Dewsbury Hall)
Richarlison Jesus Nketia

Actually have 1.1m to add to this, which if no better solutions will just improve the bench

Well, they have two games so good chance of 4-6 just for playing?

Can only get another Liverpool player if do other tfrs. £11.6m doesn’t afford Dias (or Jota) and A N Other?

Yeah City def overall is safer. I can do some of these city moves
Rob/Dalot --> Dias/Laporte -4
Rob --> Cancelo Free
Rob/Weg --> Dias/Jesus -4
Rob/Dalot --> Cancelo/Dias -8 by downgrading Weg

I do think the Jesus move seems better as it also allows a way to Rich next week.

Yeah, either -4. Straight swap for Rob seems pointless unless think he’ll get rested

:lol:

That watford PTSD will haunt us forever.

Had a bit more of a tinkle around, this looks alright

Schmeichel
TAA Cancelo Dias Alonso
Salah De Bruyne Havertz Saka
Richarlison Nketia

Brownhill (!) as the 1 playing sub, Tsim may play 1 game.

But all of that starting 11 have a decent ceiling. Not seen Havertz in many lineups, but cup final or not they're still Chelsea with a double.

Okay, so...
I had a horrendous season as many of us but I've been killing it over the past 5 gameweeks. 60+ points each week

I'm thinking Dias and Laporte are you best bet.

Here's my team for this week

Schmeichel
Matip Laporte Alonso, Concello
Son Mount Salah(C) Jota Kulu
Watkins

Wanna keep Couty for his double next GW as I don't have a FH. VVD over Dias this week?

Mount over Havertz.
Reason me up chief. Debating it.

Think Mount has a better chance of starting twice.

Also Tuchel has been talking about Lukaku today with stuff like "maybe he starts", which might replace Havertz. Mount usually is a safer bet for minutes.

I'm gonna switch it to Mount, then come back to it in the morning :D

Unsure about this. Lot of chat about Robertsons turn to be rested. Also chat that Lukaku could come in for Havertz. Think both will start 1 game. Arnold and Mount might be better bets if you have the funds

Right, the "sleep on it" team

Schmeichel
TAA Cancelo Dias Alonso
Salah (c) De Bruyne Saka Mount
Richarlison Nketia

Gordon as doubling cover, Tsim as potential 1 gamer.

Looks firm.
