Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

Tempted to do Gordon for Son -4 going off the rumours that he is one of the players with this illness.
 
Never thought FPL would make me go this far but here I am, checking the weather radar over fecking Liverpool, concluding that 2 degrees celcius aint enough to create icy conditions and make me change 3-4 players.

Some Spurs fan on twitter listed all the rumoured players missing with this illness that has apparently spread through the squad.

I've ignored it and left him in. Enzo will just replace him off the bench of needs be
 
Leaving it alone. If Liverpool is off ill simply have a 9 player week, knowing most active players will have 2 to 3 doubts themselves

Yeah just seen it. Tempting me to use my free transfer as I’ve also read he may be on the bench anyway, just waiting to hear some proper team news. Major risk if the United game is called off as I’ll be missing Salah and Trent and Maz is on my bench along with a suspended Roger’s. All seems to have fallen in the same week ffs.
 
I was half asleep, checked the prices and saw Wood was going up so did Solanke to him for a -4 as I want Gordon next week and any price change would prevent it.

Second time I've taken a hit this year.
 
Going to transfer Son out, agonising over Gordon or Mbeumo.It's a FT, no -4s involved.

Wanted to leave the decision until after this week, Son has the home fixture and it would have given more thinking time. Not just that but I know whoever I pick will now get injured in the FA Cup. :lol:

Cursed since Saka's injury. Brought in Bruno to replace him and he gets a red, brought in Son to replace Bruno and he misses a pen and now might be out.
 
Maz likely dropping and Milenkovic going up tonight made my mind up. 4 at the back this week and praying Spurs put up a fight in the early kick off.

Son > Gordon done.

Really can't split him and Mbeumo longer term, 6-7 weeks in advance. That's how long I'd like to plan transfers for ideally. Gordon is 0.3 cheaper, that was pretty much the deciding factor. Getting deeper into it, Gordon ahead for 3 or 4 weeks marginally, Mbeumo then takes over, could switch then although I don't really like those shorter term moves.

Now triple Newcastle and triple Chelsea all of a sudden.

Last minute of Son out but went Mbeumo. Frees up the funds to bring in Gordon for Enzo next week too but I’ll hold fire for the fa cup games first.

They really are so close together as picks. There's a big chance I end up on both the same as you, got Semenyo leaving my squad next week, waiting for those FA Cup games too. It's then Mbeumo vs Bruno.

Same. I thought I put him in my team then remembered he's on my bench and by the time I realised, deadline passed.
 
It would be nice if Solanke is on pens in Son's and Maddison's absence from the starting lineup should they be lucky enough to get one.

Could well be Kulusevski though. He took one for them in a Carabao penalty shootout last season and as captain for the day may well take responsibility himself.

Got Bissouma and Maddison on the bench as well. I guess it depends how many are playing at under 100% as well off the back of a bug.

You never know which Spurs are going to turn up and to a lesser extent that's true of Newcastle as well although they've looked a different side with Tonali back.

I was bricking it too, saw a load of different rumours over their lineup, some without him.

Edit: Nevermind, scrolled up and see you brought Wood in. Good pick I'd say, could work out not too bad in the end. Besides, saves you money for future moves. Even if it doesn't work out today it can still pay off in the long run.

Was annoyed to see it too, but I think it works out better in the end somehow for me.

So many people with Isak his yellow helped Solanke end up with the 3 bonus points who a lot less own.
 
Slightly annoying Isak stupidly getting himself a yellow and then dropping to 2 BP's after being subbed but WC going well so far. 14 pts from two.

I'm fully expecting it all to go to shit by the end of the day, of course.

I don't have Solanke so no comfort for me there. I also think he should have had a yellow for booting the keeper in the chest.
 
25 from 4 so far. Think I was on 24 from 4 last week which was looking bad at that point due to the insane scoring that was going on. Hopefully it proves to be a better effort this time.

Yes, he could well have been booked for that, no real complaints if he had been.

Think he picked up some really late points towards the bonus there too, a couple of shots on target towards the end. If Isak stays on he takes the 3 bonus surely. Either through doing something that contributed and of course the booking wouldn't have happened at least in the same manner.

Had him for ages, barely returns and even when he did return, hardly gets any bps.

I get rid of him and he is on 3 bps despite being on the losing team.

I wish I had Bernard's watch so I could freeze time and slap him across the face.
