Sell Solanke for any other in form striker.

Downgrade Solanke and get rid of that double Spurs. I would also take Johnson out. I watch them most weeks as my sons a Spurs fan and while he looks good at times his final product is absolutely terrible. His highest point this season came when Son was out injured. With Richarlison back he's likely going to be rotated more than ever tbh. I would take both of those out personally.

Cheers both, got Solanke in a few games ago and kinda regret it now although I did get Johnson early in his scoring run so got some good returns from him.

Spurs do have two home fixtures in a row the second one being Ipswich which is the only thing slightly putting me off ditching both immediately. Plus as I said in response in VP89's post Solanke to Jackson in two games could be a good move. As I said Solanke has Villa and Ipswich at home while Jackson has United and Arsenal but after that Chelsea's run gets better so for me it kinda lines up well to make the move after that.

Johnson I am more happy to ditch this weekend but have got no idea as to who to bring in.

Why take him out? I can’t see us keeping a clean sheet.

Matter of bizarre principle. I cant have any players from City/Liverpool ever or whoever is playing us that match week in my team because I cant have a scenario where I benefit from someone scoring against us.

I also wont pick United players so I dont jinx them.

It does mean I can take the piss out of one of the Liverpool fans in our league when they celebrated City players scoring against them last season because it got them loads of points until I pointed that their team they support lost in real life with title implications though

Wow, that’s some dedication to the cause! FPL must be a long hard season for you though.

It means you're shooting yourself in the foot and dropping points all over the place.

I wouldn't be celebrating anyone scoring against the team I support though. What kind of gimps do you know?

It can be pretty interesting at times

Yeah its true regarding the dropping points but I normally have the midfield loaded up with decent points scorers to balance it out. I take a massive hit when playing Arsenal and Villa though but thats ok, Id rather us do well than me do well

As regards the celebrating when someone scores against your team, Liverpool fans :lol:

How do you normally fare over a season not having any City, Liverpool players? Those weekends Salah or Haaland go nuts and you're relying on some lesser players must often sting?
And the extra awkwardness of benching other star players v us?
Sounds taxing.

It can be but at the moment Im 3rd by a good bit in our league out of 8/9 people so doing ok. (Was 4th in the end last year).

Having Palmer/Saka as captain/vice captain every week is normally worth a pretty decent haul of points and the points tend to be spread around the team pretty evenly most weeks so makes up somewhat for refusing to pick Salah/Haaland.

Haaland or Salah captain?

Haaland or Salah captain?
Salah for me. Home fixture for the inform guy who should have plenty of joy against high-line Brighton. The only argument for Haaland is "he's Haaland," and that hasn't been sufficient for the last 4 weeks.

What to do with Gabriel this weekend?

Picking 3 of:

TAA, Konate (Brighton H)
Lewis (Bournemouth A)
Gabriel (Newcastle A)

Thinking of benching him but I'm not sure.

Clean sheet odds as per the bookies = Konate/ TAA 37.5%, Lewis 36.0%, Gabriel 34.0%. He's the lowest but that's so close and there's always the chance Arsenal defence kicks back into cleanie mode at any time. A bit of a goal threat for him too that he has over Konate.

Fitness concerns mean I don't want him coming off the bench for a 1 pointer should only be a sub. Could happen if they were trying to shore up a narrow lead late on.

If I did pick him and he starts it gives me coverage on 3 different teams instead of extra reliance on Liverpool. Mathematically that actually doesn't matter but it always feels like it does! Hurts when you're on double or triple defence from the same team and they concede.

Any news on McNeil? Currrently on my bench for Larsen. Confused who to start between then
Dyche said on Thursday he has a chance, but by the sound of it he hadn't been in any sort of group training at the point, and their game is today. Most predicted lineups I've read still have him in though.

Wissa or Cunha? Both have great fixtures.

Already have Mbeumo.
If you've got no Wolves I'd personally have Cunha. Their fixture run is kind til Christmas, whereas Brentford's looks a bit rougher from the start of December.

Rolling this week I think

Fabianski
TAA Lewis Ait Nouri
Salah (c) Palmer Mbeumo Rogers
Haaland (vc) Wood Ndiaye

Subs: Verbruggen Maz Carvalho Greaves

I think I’ll roll too. Similar team.

Fabianski
Gabriel Lewis Ait Nouri
Salah (c) Palmer Mbeumo Johnson
Haaland (vc) Wood Raul

Mykolenko on for Gabriel if he misses and I hope for no 10 min cameo, but it seems unlikely

Salah or Haaland as C? I need to catch up ground and take risks, so the answer I’m leaning to is Salah.
I really don’t know who will have a higher EO. Last week Haaland was 160% Salah 70%. I think they’ll both be above 100% this week

Is it worth the gamble starting McNeil or should I play more cautiously and go with Buonanotte?
If Buonanotte is your bench player, just start him. Ipswich already struggling defensively, on top of now having like 3-4 first choice defender out with injuries.

How many of you lot have sold/might sell Haaland? The useless cnut is now the third highest point scorer while costing a bomb. I already made three transfers this week without biting the bullet on that one. Now I'm wondering if it was a mistake.

On the other hand, given he's only scored once in four weeks I feel like he's going to explode again.

Konsa, ESR > Ait-Nouri, Garnacho

Raya
TAA - Gabriel - Ait-Nouri
Palmer - Foden - Mbeumo - Garnacho
Haaland (C) - Wood - Strand-Larsen

Rogers - Maz - Bellis

130k. 2FTs next week.

Not even sure what team I ended up on at the end, will have to wait until after the update to see.

Switching around 2 of Lewis, Konate and Gabriel multiple times at the death.

Not me, I don't think. Like you say he's bound to explode again. The time to get rid already passed - he was never gonna sustain 2 goals every game for that long in hindsight.

KDB will probably be back after the internationals and Foden will find form&fitness soon too, so if anything, I'm more thinking about when's a good time to get a City creator in on top of Haaland.

I might in the very near future, and I think quite a few have done it this week.

If I do I'm not sure how to play it though. I'm big at the back, and the teams I've seen that have recently gone no Haaland that most impress me have cheap defenders with a ridiculous midfield.

I can't do that with no WC. It's tricky to because non-premium middies were on fire in the early weeks, still doing well now. Now everyone's loving the non-premium forwards. Wouldn't know where to focus the most. Either way I'm trying to build up a few free transfers before deciding. It's just one of a number of ways to go, I'm looking at a mini overhaul in week 12 come what may. Just letting things tick on until then.

Sanchez
TAA Konate Lewis
Palmer Mbeumo Johnson Rogers
Haaland (C) Jackson Wood

Fab Gabriel Dibling Greaves

Hoping Newcastle can at least score one now that Gabriel is confirmed as starting. Mind you, there was late news that Walker has travelled with City, leading some to speculate that Lewis could be in for a surprise benching. In which case I'd be hoping for an Arsenal cleanie and Lewis to not even get on the pitch! Doubt that happens though.

In top10k (I’m top 100k but don’t have data for it) Salah is on 125% and Haaland at 103% but I want Haaland to bang a few because there’s many smug Haalandless feckers at the top of the leagues, including the Caf one, who took advantage of his shitty last few weeks

Raya
Gabriel Lewis Mykolenko Ait-Nouri
Salah (C) Palmer Mbeumo Rogers
Haaland Cunha

Ha, aye I suppose they’ve been slim pickings this season. Hopefully he can grab a goal from a set piece or something.
That's literally the only reason I've still got him in

Either way he's probably out in the next couple of weeks in my quest to stack the midfield with premiums while somehow keeping Haaland.

Might change from my Arsenal defence or use a chip soon (Haven't used any yet). Raya and Saliba haven't been great in recent weeks.
