Fantasy Premier League 20/21

Yeah seems to be. I mean more in terms of the upcoming doubles/blank gw's. I don't have my free hit left so ideally want as many teams playing in gw29 as possible.
I think Burnley, if they won that game, would have had two DGW in 24 and 26 and blank 29 but now they'll have the double in 24, single in 26 and will play in 29.

I think (though not sure) they could still have a blank in GW29 if Leicester go through in the cup, as they're the other half of that GW29 fixture.

Oh yeah forgot about Leicester. Suddenly, getting Burnley defenders has become less appealing. I have Lowton and was going to bring in Mee but now I may just stick with Lowton...

It all needs weighing up.
The other chap said about if you take Dier out, you might not actually lose out with a hit, as Mee will most likely at least get you 2 per game (getting your -4 back) and Dier if he has lost his place get s0.

However, you'll want to play the 2 City and Shaw, and you'll probably want to play 7 of your front 8.

So the bigger question, is whether Mee -4 will outscore Shaw and the rest of your "front" 7.
Cheers. Probably not worth it, the only way it works of he gets those clean sheets.

I'm tempted to bring in Lingard for this weekend, given he's not able to play tonight - at the very least for my fantasy draft team.

It "could" pay off, Mee has scored 2 this season, so combine a goal with 1 or even 2 clean sheets and it's a right haul.

But Burnley have kept just 2 cleanies in their last 8, one was Sheff Utd at home, and one was ridiculously, Liverpool away :)

Palace and Fulham are poor outfits, so the fixtures are good, but all it takes is conceding 1 goal in one of the games, and your defender not scoring, and you'll probably find Shaw or one of your other attackers does just as well.

For disclosure I have Pope, but a totally different scenario as I did it for free. My "risk" is fairly low too, as I also have Mendy, who may well get 6 v Newcastle, but chances are Pope gets at least 2-3 in each game.

Who to bench from Maddison (LIV - H), Salah (Leicester - A), Son (City - A) or Watkins (Brighton - A)?

Choices choices

How many DGW players do people have? I am tempted to bring in an Everton player, but one of their games is against City and so I expect nothing much of a differential to happen.

Antonio marked as yellow for this week, what are his chances? Should I teake him out for DCL? Also Son VS Bamford for this GW?

Considering DCL is getting two games and Antonio one I'd wager DCL. West Ham have Sheffield United, on a LWLWL they're not easy to predict. Everton, Fulham + Man City. Reckon he'll bag a few.

I would bench Son or Maddison. Probably Son because man City xGC is different level.

Ah fecking hell, just say they have conceded few goals this year and have a great defensive unit, don’t make xGS/xGC a thing - it isn’t a thing, it will never be the thing.

Antonio isn't fully fit so even if he plays, he probably won't play the full 90. Plus Sheff United been looking a little better. On top of that, many West Ham players just played 120, they may be a bit lethargic. West Ham also have really difficult fixtures coming up. DCL has a double this week and a potential double in 26. Even if 26 isn't a double, he's worth getting.

This literally is how xGC is calculated without having to type that every time.

Normally I ignore these stats but this year, I've kept half an eye on it and I'm doing far better than most years.

Fecks sake it's a massacre tonight.

Also not looking good for those (like me) without a free hit for gw29...

I already have only 3-4 players playing the double and now DCL is off.

Justin was anyways on my bench because of the Liverpool game, but this does not look good

Feck. I took a risk bringing dcl in to beat the rise. Woe is me
Hopefully it's not too bad. Thing is, while he's got a double GW, he won't be getting points v City. I only want him to play that Fulham game, if he's not fit for that I may bench him...

What’s the play for people with free hit, bench boost, and wildcard left?

Anyone know how bad Pope's injury is?

Was gonna bring him in for the double.

Hadn't heard this. They rotate heavily for the cup so he wasn't going to play that one.

Dcl being out will be a big blow. Justin not ideal if it's more than Liverpool game.

According to FF he's got a knock and has a 75% chance of playing. If it's only a knock I might bring him in anyway as he's better than what I've got.

Four of my team have a 75% chance of playing so this could be a bad week.

Pope DCL Antonio Dias and Justin all marked as doubtful. That's some heavily owned players, anyone has an update on their chances?

I'll have to listen out to the press conferences tomorrow now as I have Antonio, DCL and Justin (already on my bench) but provided they aren't confirmed to be out I'll keep them in as I have a decent enough bench with Son and Dallas to come in.
