I think I will captain Salah based on above. I might be able to gain some ground on those who have KDB but don't have Salah.
Jota has an injury concern.
Is Salah really worth it? If he got a long term injury I would be happy with my team.
Now I need to remove 2 players I want in order to get him. DCL, Vardy, Robertson out for the money and Bruno out to get Salah.
I think to bet against Salah could win you FPL potentially, but I can't take watching Liverpool without him if they are destroying a team like Fulham.

He's definitely work it considering those Xmas fixtures. Do what feels right to you imo. I'm one of those who don't have KDB but I've covered myself with Sterling and Mahrez.
It feels right to get Salah and that has been my plan for weeks to get him for this Fulham game.
Although selling Vardy and Bruno do not feel right. Still I think Salah is a better captain than them both.
Wilson, Watkins, Welbeck, Adams do not feel amazing looking at form and fixtures. A punt on Wilson might work for a few weeks with 3 good games, but the Newcastle Covid situation gives me doubt they will have a strong team.
Recently I have sold players out with Covid or missing games a lot. It has actually backfired anyway with Zaha getting that 18 point haul etc when back.
I have Wilson and he's been great for me. I took a hit to remove Vardy, had enough of him.
Yeah Wilson has been really good, but a Newcastle without 12 players might be more crap than usual.

The best attacking player in the best attacking team and probably the best team in the league, takes penalties, greedy cnut, historically gets the most points etc.
Even if he plays 60 minutes he's worth captaining.
Just imagine you don't have him (or do and don't Captain him)... Imagine the feeling you'll have for those 90 minutes against Fulham.
Stop overthinking and Captain him ffs. If he blanks, this will affect most active players so you won't miss out.

He hasn't played that well recently though to be fair. Got some big luck with recent gifted goals.

I have Mahrez but I'll be swapping him for Grealish after West Brom probably simply for peace of mind.

I can certainly say that it is bloody horrible not having him - just asking for trouble really.
With Jota seemingly at doubt- it's very likely he starts, and while people say City "Only" beat Fulham 2-0 - anyone who watched that will know it should have been way higher.

This is what I'm leaning towards. No hit required either. Don't think I have the nerve to go without Salah vs Fulham - particularly given he'll be so heavily captained.
Plus, KDB's ownership is relatively low all things considered. I'm also banking on us not being hopeless in the derby!
No doubt I'll want him straight back for West Brom, but that's a problem for the next GW.

Risk with Kane but he has Liverpool next and it leaves me with a powerful front 7 of

DCL Bamford Watkins.
It is a -4 but Ziyech gets a 0 and I'm not sure any of my bench will get more than 2 if that.
Takes away having to use a transfer to sort of De Bruyne/Salah/Bruno each week too
Made the transfers - then had a real sick feeling looking at my team and saw no Salah!

Taking a -8 because the Mahrez gamble against Fulham failed, DCL’s games are getting harder and I need to make money for a Pool winger.

Seems to play more central these days and takes pens. Plus is in better form.
Jota being a doubt helps a lot too to see Salah at least start.

I thought I was in the same boat - had the exact money to do De Bruyne to Salah - but knew Salah was going up.
I thought that although DB was also going up I'd not have the selling benefit to still do it - but in the end I could have just done the switch.
But then De Bruyne plays Wbrom next week, so what do you do then? Probably still make the -4 but a week when Bamford isn't playing West Ham at home and another 0.1m decrease for Ziyech tonight to suck up.
But this finally gets the big 3 together and with 0.9m in the bank. Would have been 1.1m at the start of the week but you can't have it all!

A lot of the game in fantasy footy is covering or trying to get in on those big hauls.
Bruno 2 weeks ago and De Bruyne last week were massive risks. And Salah v Fulham certainly is!
Scored last week. 11 goals in 11 games. Not sure where this is coming from either much like the Salah being benched nonsense.
Everton have definitely dropped off though and if you think his goals will dry up without Digne and Rodriguez by all means take him out. No evidence for it so far though. Confirmation bias I believe they call it.
I still have him for this week. I am thinking over the next few weeks, if he is still worth it.
Would lose a big chunk of wad on him too.
But more importantly I think he is this year's Ings. ie one of those hard working but a bit mediocrely crap players who suddenly turn into a goal machine.
I’m just forgetting KdB at this stage - feel like that ship has sailed after I didn’t put him in for his double haul against Burnley and Fulham. He’ll have to play against us and Southampton away as those are tough games (are we really), so WBA at home is almost a certain rest for Foden imo.
At the same time though, I think both Salah and Mane will haul against Fulham. With no Jota to make it a front 4, they’ll be passing to each other more often, which may well prove to be a very valuable intangible. Also, Salah is on hot form and Mane is due a goal.
I have had 100% green arrows crazy enough (mostly tiny ones), but unless Salah hauls 10+ it will surely come to an end I think.

I already regret not swapping out De Bruyne for Salah. Considering how inconsistent we are and how Ole always seem to turn up in the big games, I won't be surprised if we beat City. Swapped out Bruno Fernandes and Timothy Wener for Jack Grealish and Son-Heung Min. Should have gone for Salah instead. It is a no brainer. The best attacking player in the best attacking team against the worst team in the league.
Glad of the Bamford assist with the retaken pen - but need more.
