If he is not already in your team, i wouldn't bring him in. He just started training again so will likely be involved in the upcoming game week but how he actually performs is anybodys guess.
Stick with him for another week if he already is part of your team and evaluate after this gameweek
I already have him in my team, so the supplementary question is, start him, or Decloure?
He was ill for the last game wasn't he? Monreal and Davies will probably score better than him anyway in the last few months of the season. I'd stick one of them in if you don't have them.
Think I'll dump Ottamendi for Davies myself in the next GW actually.
Wait till the press conferences on Friday to see if there is any news on him.. I would think that he will start but you never know
The North London derbies are typically pretty high scoring games though aren't they?
Agreed about City though, can't see Arsenal getting any change out of City.

This was previous GW. As you can see, some players which were expected to play, didn't even start which left me in a very bad shape otherwise - thus waisting the WC. Ideally, I should have waitied, but didn't want to be so far behind.
I have already moved out Lingard to survive the price drop.
Next changes look like this:
Rudiger -> Defender rated 5.8M or less
Hazard -> Sanchez.
I've just done Son to Ramsey. I think Son might have to share his spot with Lucas Moura, who may get his debut this weekend.

Hi guys, I had to play my 2nd wild card as I had various injuries (Played the last 10 gw always with 10men) and my subs were not started, I still have the free hit when I need to use it.

Same as you I used TC already. I can't access the link at work but is the general idea for most to play the free hit in GW31 when only a Liverpool, Watford, Everton and couple others are playing?
Then attempt to build a decent team for a big DGW around GW34 and bench boost?
His analogy is driving a car to a dead end in GW31. So build a team with enough players (but not shit ones that will cause too much damage in the proceeding weeks) to cover for GW31. After that you can jump into a new car by using the wildcard in GW32 with the BB in mind for GW34. Free Hit in GW35 and the TC if you have it in GW37.
I think you're right that most people with the free hit will use it in GW31 and might actually waste it somewhat. Should give you an advantage if you can be clever by putting out 7/8 players and saving the free hit for the juicier looking GW(35).
Just checked and my nearest rival has used his Free Hit and Triple Captain chips so I already have an advantage.
Ah I should also mention I've used my second WC already
That does make sense though if you can get a half decent side out for GW31 then WC the week after. My only issue is that if you have a strong side after GW31(whether you played free hit or did a WC in GW32)...you are then gambling with the free hit by potentially taking out good players?

Not sure about that. The free hit is the anti gambling chip as your team just reverts back to what it was the week prior. I think the idea is that the blanks in gw35 will inevitably involve some of the big boys so you wouldn't want all that money for the likes of Kane, Aguero, Sanchez being wasted not playing when you can spread it across the 11 with the use of the free hit.
Using the wildcard already is a bit of a bummer though. In that case I'd probably use the free hit in 31 and start to build a team towards the dgw for the bench boost.
Using that 'dead end' car method, I reckon I could have 8 players from Liverpool/Everton/Stoke and Watford by GW31, without taking any hits.
Ah forgot that the big teams will probably blank in GW35. My thinking was that if I have a team with Kane, Sterling, Salah, Pogba etc. and they are all playing, it's a gamble for me to play free hit and switch to Aguero, Aubamayang, Mhki, Eriksen as my originals could outscore that.

They are playing man city away, wouldn't do that
Deulofeu could be a good shout, looked great against Chelsea and he's cheap, not the worst fixtures. Theo or miki too, you have to keep Salah, Sterling and Otandmendi. That is the backbone of points. I'm second in a league of around 13, the person in front is 7th worldwide, so doing well. Even though he's crazy in front point wise, it's all about coming second. I would get rid of shaqiri, I swapped him for Ramsey last week and it payed off big time. Think you need to ask yourself is he ever going to get more than a goal or get 1 assist, teams that don't score much like palace or Stoke never going to have huge points. I'm so tempted to use my wildcard but will wait, need to see how some of these new players go. I had lingard for a good while but I think his big run is over, you never know like. That's a good team you got, it's all about picking the right captain isn't it, depending where you are.

KDB & Ramsey for me. Although if it's a question of which two out of KDB/Pogba or Sanchez/Ramsey then I'd go with the latter (until Ramsey gets injured again).
Mahrez is out of the city game.. You may want to get rid as we don't know what he is going to be like when he comes back (if he comes back)

Thinking I've fecked right up with my chips now. Used Free hit and my wildcard, meaning the blank gw and double coming up is gonna be difficult.
Appaz Liverpool, Everton, Stoke and Watford are the only guaranteed to play in the blank. I could bring in Firmino again, Mane, Choupo-Moting, and Walcott, but then I'd have to quickly get my team sorted afterwards again.

Can you afford anyone other than Elliot as back up gk? I don't think he'll play again for Newcastle this season. I'll be ditching him when I play my wildcard.
I thought that when I used my wildcard but is there much point? DDG is going to be your no.1 every week, guaranteed to play and it doesn't matter if we are playing City,Chelsea,Liverpool he is still the best pick of GK. Elliot at 4m allows you an extra 0.5m spent better elsewhere, unless there are other GK at 4m who play?

I'm thinking more for those people who have the BB chip left. Might be worth an extra 15 points. But yeah I guess if you can significantly improve somewhere else with that £0.5m for the rest of the season he's probably worth hanging on to.
Nice team, assuming Monreal will usually start Ogbonna/Taylor. Can't really see much too upgrade, Lukaku is a bit of gamble but could be a very good move as his % ownership is only 20% compared to Aguero(29%), Firmino (39%), Kane (44%).
