Elliott is not even first choice any more is he?
Any ideas on who to buy?
I can spend 8.9 on a midfielder or 6.3 on a defender. It should be someone who should get over 4 pts this week. I can only field 10 players this week and already got Aguero in for Kane.
Preferably one to use for 3 weeks, as I will probably use my wildcard after the next 3 weeks.
Already have: Salah, Mane, Son, Sterling - Christensen, Otamendi, Mbemba

Mahrez is the obvious one in midfield.
You're more than likely right, but that would only normally apply if I tried to 'sign' another United player
I'll soon find out anyway as i've got the same situation in two of my squads.
Any ideas for Lanzini replacement?
Or Arnautovic?
I want to bring in Ramsey (6.9) but not sure if he plays..recently back from injury I believe

Could work but I don’t go for players like Kante, Fernandinho, Wilshere etc.
Heard positives about Shaqiri (6.0)lately. Choupo Moting (5.4)if you want to save some £ or even Allen (5.1)
Albrighton (5.6)might be worth a punt too.
I would like Martial at 8.0 but can’t afford it now.
Mkhitaryan (7.6) might get off to a flying start..

Hey all need some advice, am thinking of using my wildcard as I need to gain ground in my work league as like 100 points from top, most people above me have Kane, Salah etc so I am tempted to go real different. It will either blow up in my face or work wonders. I am gambling with Sanchez, dunno if it is a good idea. But figured if he hits the ground running he will be harder to get in my team. Below is what I have currently, and what I am thinking of switching to. Open to any advice whether to chance certain players, or whether not to do it.

I brought in Shaqiri as Stoke have a great set of fixtures coming up, and potentially they'll experience that new-manager-bounce.
However if I'm honest I regret it already, I think there's so much value in the mid-priced midfielders this season that it makes sense to grab four of them (Pogba, Mahrez, Silva, Sane etc).
Edit - re-reading that and it’s very clear, I’m not suggesting you get four mid-priced midfielders, but rather that’s as low as you go in terms of price point. So you may rock a Salah / Hazard / Mahrez / Sane midfield.

I heard its about a month, maybe two. Grab Sterling, similar price and now guaranteed to play.
I like the look of the Wildcard team. The gamble could pay off.

Are people confident Shaw will start more often than not? I transferred him in a couple of rounds ago but starting to get cold feet. Have a feeling Young will play at least half the games

Great team man, you are lucky to have plenty of money in the bank. I only have 0.2 left so I am very restricted. That Salah one was always going to hurt.
Mane is in pretty poor form so I'm not sure he is a good option. I'd prefer Ozil for 9.3 especially if Arsenal buy Aubameyang. I think Son to Hazard is your best option though. He drifts in and out of form but he is still the 8th highest midfield earner.
I think he will start most games, maybe 70%. Young will start a few of course. Even if he only starts half the games he was great value at 4.9, but it's important to have a starting defender on the bench to come on when Shaw doesn't play. I have Tomkins.
Yeah I'm actually really tempted by Hazard, he's quite a streaky player and given he's found his form he could go on a bit of a run.
Where are you ranked at the moment? I was lucky enough to captain Aguero last week which propelled me up the ranks. It's funny how much difference a good captaincy choice can make.
Hopefully he does it again against West Brom!

I'm 800k in the world. Very poor. The last 4 weeks I have scored 39, 41, 54 and 43 which really knocked me down the list as I was steadily 200/300k in the world before that

That’s absolutely ridiculous, I’ve followed your team on here and it’s been one of the best I’ve seen.
It’s actually been really similar to mine and I’m at 5k (thanks to Aguero). That’s nuts. Honestly it’s all about the captaincy pick.
In hindsight I should have tried to get Aguero in for these fixtures, but I don't think I could have realistically done it without several hits or wildcarding. So I'm hoping he blanks tomorrow - captaining Sterling so hope he gets all the goals!
Sure hope so! I have Ogbonna and Francis as backup.. will be crucial when Shaw is on the bench.
I still don't think Aguero is the same player as he used to be, and now he is the only fit striker I think he will tire out. His hat trick against Newcastle was more luck than anything, barely if at all touch the ball on the first goal, second was a penalty. 3rd he did well but was a tap in.

Not sure about that. Alonso is on fire averaging 8.4 points a game over the last 8 games.
If you want to get rid of Eriksen, plenty of choice with 9m in the bank. Mahrez, Martial, Sterling, Silva, Alli. Or at least give Sanchez a couple of weeks? Personally think it's too risky for me.
I think it would be a mistake to sell Alonso, he's raking the points in. Scored the other day as well.
There are rumours around Chelsea signing a new left back though, if that happens then it could be a good move. He plays every game at the moment and does look a bit nackered.

So Moura is looking bound for Spurs, and those on r/fantasypl are saying Son is most likely the one whose place will suffer, even with his form. Maybe time to change for Mahrez for me.
Got rid of Arnautovic for Mkhitaryan and took a 4 point hit... Regretting it already for some reason...
