Fantasy Football 2017/18

I tried to enter one of these new fantasy drafts a few weeks ago, not really understanding how they worked. Then I forgot all about it until just now so I went to have a look.

Seems it must have drafted players automatically for me and my team this week has 57 points with Gross, Iheanacho and Gabiaddini still to play! That's already 23 points more than the side I spend ages deliberating over each week in the proper game!

Sane is absolutely tearing things up, with 4 goals and 5 assists in the last 5 games.

Can he be trusted to play regularly? Thinking of getting him in for D.Silva.

Pep is a nightmare for FF. Nobody is safe from rotation barring De Bruyne and Otamendi.

For sure. Captain Aguero didn't feature today. Morata was my vice Captain and he missed a few sitters frustratingly.

The numbers Sane is getting is hard to look past though. I wonder if Pep sees him as a vital player that can't drop on current form.

Just saw the Bournemouth-Chelsea highlights and.. wtf Morata? In a way though, I'm happy despite the shit score because I nearly got the captaincy right for the first time. Such a good choice that on a bad day, it (he) got an assist.

Reasoning wasn't too bad either.

Yeah, it's tough. Liverpool are playing for the first time without Coutinho and Mane against a decent Huddersfield side. But they are at home and will be looking to bounce back.

Morata hasn't looked in the best of form yet but he must be almost 100% fit by now. He'll want a good run out against Bournemouth before the Roma match.

Personally, I'm going for Morata because:
1) I'm not sure of Liverpool's shape.
2) Hazard does well against Bournemouth and Morata might profit from it.
3) I've had the cap on Morata all week and don't want to change now. That kind of regret is the worst!

Oh, and I gave in last night and sold Kane :wenger:

Is Sane likely to go up again in the week? I don't know how the price change predictor works.

I got Sane in for D.Silva last night. Pep may well rotate, but the numbers Sane is getting cannot be ignored and I think he will feature more than Sterling and Jesus.

49 points (with a-4 hit) and Ward and Wood to still feature vs Newcastle on Monday... Might not be the most exceptional score this gw but it still puts me at #1 in my country so I couldn't be happier! Life is good

I must have the worst judgement when it comes to who to captain. Richarliason at home to Stoke..what was I thinking??

This has been the first week where I've accepted I'm going to have a shit year. I know it's still early...

Glad I left Sterling in. Hopefully Pep gives up on this stupid Bernado Silva experiment and plays a Prem proven goal scorer week in week out.

Also brought Hazard in this week who picked up 11, first time I've owned him in 18 months I'd say.

Same. Would have done Morata otherwise. So 45 instead of 49 with two to play.

That Burnley goal cost me two Newcastle clean sheets, which would have taken me within touching distance of the top of my work league - annoying!

Cedric is going down.. anyone have any budget defenders to replace him with? 5.0 or under ?

I already have burnley and swansea cover in defence.

Ended up with 54 and captain earning 2. Think I have a decent squad now and if Kane isn’t back, I’ll just save the transfer.
I was wondering.. can Kane be left for the next 3-4 weeks? I'm one transfer away from completing my desired frontline of Kane, Morata, Aguero but rethinking because of Lukaku fixtures.

He might not be fully fit against Palace even if he plays. After that: ars WBA lei. These are fixtures in which he usually scores but they have often been 1-1 type of games. Lukaku might be more prolific during this period, especially if Pogba is back.

Sorry I already have Eliott and Jones as well!
I just got in Gomez. He is just 4.5 as has started in the last 4-5 games. Liverpool have easy fixtures so he might get a few cleansheets.

@Ronaldo's Mum Eh?
Cedric has been going down for weeks now. Maybe just keep him for one more week? Could replace him with Daniels (also falling) or a Leicester defender.
He has looked like falling for a few weeks. But I can see it happening this week. Southampton have horrible fixtures from next week.

In hindsight it will be an ok decision but it's just too much of a risk unless you are either comfortable in your mini league or way behind then you can take a chance.

I'll take 54 points with Kane & Aguero on the bench any week.

No pressing need to shift anyone this week either although Cedric looks likely to drop and Alonso is continuing to drop like a stone. I think I brought him in for 7.2 so I don't fancy losing £0.3m on him tbh. No doubt he'll grab a haul at some point and shoot back up anyway.

Kane is back in training. Get him soon before his price rises.

Ffs. Worst hamstring injury ever. I was hoping there'd be no sign for a few weeks so I can get the rest of my team sorted. Might need to bring him and Sane in at the same time now for more dropped points.

Next transfers will probably be Cedric & Silva for Moreno and Sane. I'd like to hold this week though if I can and do both next week but am risking a drop on Cedric if I don't at least transfer him out before the coming deadline.

Cedric has been likely to drop for weeks so I don’t think he will drop this week either. I sold him yesterday though but that was only to get Jones in before another price rise so I really hope Jones rises now. Otherwise it was a really stupid transfer this week since I was going to play Cedric and now Jones sits on my bench with Moreno, Ota and Naugthon playing this week instead.

You might be right. I'll probably hold then, especially with another *yawn* international break coming up after the next fixture. Benching Jones is brave, even away at Chelsea. Surely Jose will have the bus parked for that one?

Welcome to the club. Brighton's goal cost me 8 points. Although Gross earned 3+2 for the assist and bonus, but still...3 points!

Yeah, I’ll probably have to reconsider that and still play De Gea and Jones even if it’s Chelsea away. The bus definitely be parked but you never know how Chelsea Will react after last nights game.

I'm getting the man city lads horribly wrong. Have had aguero when he hasn't played, taken him out and he's scored. Had sterling the week before and he didn't play so took him out and he scored on the weekend. Even took otamendi out the week he scored! Jesus has been there last two weeks and done nothing! only one I've got right is Silva and I've just left him from the start.

Might just stick Aguero back in this week and leave him. He's still the main man and isn't going to miss many games due to rotation.
