Sassy Colin
Death or the gladioli!
Firminho, Alli saviour in what was a disaster otherwise.
Me too, also have Daniels coming in on a sub

Daniels is on my bench unfortunately and will remain there. That crouch goal was a dagger.
You just have to time his inclusion in the team.Daniels was always a regular points scorer for me last season. They were getting a good few clean sheets though. Chips in with the odd goal and assist.

They will get added at the end.I used bench boost this week, but the players on the bench (Elliot, Rodriguez, Gray and Naughton) haven't had their points added to my final score. Will they only get added on at the end of the game week? Or have I done something wrong?
I'm stuck on a measly 24 atm, but would be on 49 with the bench boost points. (still have Alli, Eriksen, Firminho and Alderweireld to play.)
There's been 3 games. If he picks up similar points as the last season he'll be worth it.Really surprised by his bonus points. Will have to examine how they come up with the bonus points more closely.
De Bruyne is involved but not close enough to the opponents goal to pick up goals or assists. For his price the returns are not worth it.

Bonus points are based on more than goals, assists and clean sheets. The PL has all the stats but only use a few for FPL unlike fantasy games like NHL draft.
He just talked himself out of everyone's fantasy league teamThe problem is it is doubtful whether De Bruyne will pick up similar points to last season.
Recent interview by De Bruyne,
"I haven't scored yet, but I'm playing as a defending midfielder. My role changed, but my games are good. I know what I bring to the team and what my role is. No one knows what I had to do. People think I play as an attacking midfielder, that's wrong. They see Kevin De Bruyne, attacking midfielder, so he has to score and give assists. But they don't look beyond that"

Tough call. I'm still not convinced by morata. Plus Chelsea have some tough fixtures. But having said that, he's done alright so far.I am wondering if I should take a -4 hit now and bring in Firmino/Morata before their price increases tonight.
Any suggestions, guys?
My team, for context:
Forster
Bertrand, Hegazi, Danilo
Pogba, Mkhitaryan, Silva, Mane
Lukaku, Chicharito, Rodriguez
Elliot, Daniels, Carroll, Rangel.
Was thinking the same but Morata and Firminho both have big matches ahead so I will wait to get 2 free transfers and than decide what I need to change, maybe to do 3 transfers with - 4 points hit. I also used wildcard last week so it would be stupid to change again. And they could both have bad week or two and go down again... A lot will be happening now with Hazard coming back, Liverpool and Chelsea will have easier fixtures after 2-3 weeks, Sanchez situation will be resolved etc. Personally I would wait. The problem is both Firmino and Morata are going to increase 0.1 tonight.

I had him and thrown him out. He is not a great striker and will struggle to make impact against teams who will drop deep. Arsenal played to their strengths really, other teams will not play like that. I was personally disappointed with Firminho and his play in first 2 games so I dropped him. Mane will outscore him easily in my opinion and he is midfielder, Salah probably also and Salah is only 0.5 more expensive.Perhaps, but I'm sure Firmino will never be as cheap as 8.5 again. He's the striker in a very good attacking team and he's taking penalties. Glad I've had him for the start.
That interview came after my post. Obviously things have changed now.The problem is it is doubtful whether De Bruyne will pick up similar points to last season.

21 points on the bench...obviously
Yep, especially when you've talked yourself out of playing them always the way.I had 31. It's painful isn't it.
Anything more than 6.5 would be a shame. Annoying because Tammy Abrahams was actually a nice option at 5.5, but will probably be pushed to the bench now.Bony might be a decent shout as 3rd striker.
Can't work out what price he is though.

I could take Kane out and have upgrades all over my squad with the wildcard, including bench. Would mean Firmino in his place, Alonso instead of Mee, Bailly instead of Jagielka, Zanka instead of Tuanzabe, Mooy instead of Redmond. 0.6 in the bank.
Very very tempting but Spurs have a nice run after the next game.
Yeah he's gonna start smashing it soon. His underlying stats suggest he's been unlucky so far. I think I'll rotate him with Kak throughout the season. Having both cripples your team somewhat.
Firmino and one of the 2 is great shout.
Yea I've thought of kicking Kane out if he doesn't score next GW, but leaving 2.5m in the bank so I can bring him back in.Yeah, I could do with leaving enough in the bank to be able to swap them really. Particularly if Lukaku gets injured.

You just know he is going to starting banging them in the week you don't have him though.
+-3 goals and assists in 60 games for more potent teams, I'd avoid him. Could be wrong though.Renato Sanchez is only 5m. If he is played further forward to accommodate the departure of Sigurdsson, then he'd be a great value buy.
