Fantasy Football 2015/2016

That's a solid back line & keeper you've got alright. MF is better too.

Keep an eye on each players run of fixtures too, you don't want to be putting a player in with a tough run of fixtures (Liverpool for example have a nightmare run of away fixtures).

Try spread out your purchases too across the top teams (City, Chelsea, Arsenal, United)

Fecking hell I hate Hazard. The little cnut costs so much it throws the team out of balance but he's probably gunna be the highest point scorer again but more than half the teams have him so it isn't an advantage anyway. Rather you have to him so as not lose ground.

I could either have him and Scott Sinclair with Deeney on the bench to be rotated or I could have a powerhouse midfield with Fabregas and Ozil with some nobody 4.5m striker that restricts my options. Decisions decisions.

I steamrolled my way through this league the season before last and was the worthy Redcafe Champion but last season I was double jobbing and didn't have the time to focus on it.

However, I'm back again and I'd say much to the disappointment of those that watched me blitz them week in week out 2 seasons ago I'm going to go hell for leather in this one and I'm extremely confident I'll be out of sight with a month to go.

@LilRicky @Jacob is this team better?

you don't tripple on chelsea defense, first games of the season tend to be crazy if Swans score, none of your three chelsea defenders incl keeper will score many points. I would personally take only one and certainly not Curtois who won't make many saves for which you have points, save the money there and upgrade one of your midfielder. You don't seem to have any big hitter either. Hazard is a msut for me but some alternatives with Fabregas are possible. Also 9 players from three teams that's no good, you will miss on potential bonus points

pfft...I won it last year and was triple jobbing

I don't want to include any of the Liverpool or City players because i just can't imagine i could cheer in any way for them.

Why i chosed that team?
Adrian - i don't know, still thinking to switch him but i think i have decent back up in Schmeichel
Darmian - i think he will do great, biggest improvement in our squad
Fonte - great player, Southampton captain if i am not mistaken, he will do well
Azpilicueta - i have doubts about Terry so i thrown him out, but i think this guy will be even better next season

Chamberlian - i like him and i think he will develop into top player, could do well for my fantasy team
Hazard - well i don't think he is so good as some say but nevertheless he will score penalties, get some assists and goals from open play
Depay - our true next number 7, like everythink about him and think he will do very well
Sigudrsson - hope he can do the same as last season, good player no doubt
Bolasie - big powerful winger, think he will improve on next season

Kane - he is not one season wonder!
Rooney - hope for United best and for my fantasy team's best that he explode and show what he can really do.

Bench:
Schmeichel - decent back up
Gamboa and Senderos - well cheapest defenders
Ayoze - he can be a hit this season.

You're hoping for a lot of things, mate.

I'm starting to hate the whole thing, changed my team about 6387284901 times and it just seems to get worse for every time. I'm sure it will be 'wrong' whatever I do so now I'll just leave it as it is even though I hate hit.

I think Bony will get off to a great start myself. City are without Aguero and sold Dzeko (or are about to) so their forward options are very limited. Pretty much picks itself, Sterling tucked in behind Bony up front.

Just done my selection, quite happy with it. No City players yet, only player I want to include from them is Aguero when he's fit, so may have to free up Rooney/a midfielder if they aren't hitting form to make way for him.

Cech in goal, should be guaranteed 38 games from him, so got a cheap GK for back up probably won't get used.

Defence is slightly weaker part of my team that could be tested, Ivanovic scores goals so I always include him.. Wisdom & Gomez because I'm curious to how I get on.

Midfield looks strong, lot of assists, peno's, goals in there. Got a lot of big team players, only problem I have is when the those clubs play each other, one takes a beating and no points, lacks a bit of diversity for other players to get points.

How without Aguero are they though? Think he'll at least make a cameo appearance in GW1 and will likely start from then on.

Fair point, but I'd imagine they still have more than enough in them to beat West Brom. City have scored 3 goals against West Brom in each of their last 4 matches against them. That swayed it for me and I can see Sterling, Silva & Bony all causing them big problems.

Been switching Depay and Mata all week. Think'll I'll see how Depay does first and go with Mata.

Schmeichal
Clyne - Shaw - bellerin - cedric
Hazard - sterling - Memphis - coutinho
Benteke - Rooney

Gnarby - Hoban - Rudd - vydra

That is my team so far. Midfield and defence I'm hoping for the majority of my points. Strikers to get me a few goals. Strikers are hit and miss this year, the good ones tend to get injured a lot so not worth sacrificing my midfield or defensive options. Kasper with bonus points rather than clean sheet points I'd say

Thinking of taking a bit of a chance and play two players from newly promoted teams. Both of them scored a lot last season and both of them cheap. Benching Sakho because of opponent. Not at all sure about that Bournemouth side though.
I have a decent amount left to change the team around if the punts don't work out or if I want Aguero.

I've basically gone for a safe-ish approach here and went for most of the attacking players who are playing against weaker teams. Baines, Coleman, Yaya, Silva, Puncheon, Pelle, and Mane all should be able to get me lots of points. Cech is a great pick as it's inevitable that Arsenal will be tested by West Ham, and at home, I count on Cech to get a clean sheet especially after his dominant Chelsea performance. On the bench, I have defenders who can get points through set pieces or attacking play. With Stekelenburg, I have a solid keeper who'll be quite active and probably Southampton's #1 whilst Forster still recovers from his long-term injury.

I probably might carry this over to Gameweek 2, but I'm sure I'll be changing things around for the next Gameweek. I might get in a Man. Utd. attacking player who played well against Spurs to replace Yaya Toure for the next Gameweek. Either that or another Liverpool player to add more points.

You know you can only use all out attack (2 defenders) once in the whole season?

I'm aware of that, but I'm taking a gamble right now for these reasons:
  1. Everton vs. Watford means Baines and Coleman will have a joyful first Gameweek.
  2. Man. City vs. West Brom means that Yaya and Silva will get me lots of points. Add in Mane and Ox there, and there's potential for many more points.
  3. The rest of the Gameweeks don't look as good for me, so I'm taking a risk here and using this for the first one as the rest of the Gameweeks don't look as promising.

Any comments on this?

Focus on midfield, while I wanted some players I would believe could get some nice points. O'Shea looked a good money vs points deal while Ivanovic seems like a player that should score well. Sigrudsson/Eriksen/Fabregas/Memphis/Cazorla should be scoring good points for midfielders (risk on Memphis ofc, but as he plays extremely offensively for us...) Kane is in both because he plays against Romero+our defence and as I believe he should score well this year. Berahino is a "cheap"-risk for me, I alse believe that Ayoze could be a steal for his price

Mate, wait until there is a double game week (when fixtures rearranged due to cup games etc) where a few players llay twice in one week ;) i also dont think its gonna be as easy for Everton as you think but i could be wrong. Think watford have a very good chance of scoring with their attacking options and Evertons shaky defence (assuming Stones is so unsettled hea not at his best, haha).

Dangit, I forgot about double Gameweeks. I must have skimmed through too quickly. Hmm...I might have to reconsider my options.

I have the same front line. I love Wazza, but Kane is simply cheaper and is the focal point of Spurs' attack. The only thing is that I swapped him out for Benteke who should be raring to go against Stoke, expect some goals there and maybe from new boy Firmino as well.

I have rearranged once again...and now I still have 2M left. Wondering who to upgrade. And still confused between Ozil and Cazorla.

Hundreds of "Who ate all Depays" teams

C'mon Mike Smalling Utd!
