Fantasy Football 2015/2016

Is Alli going to be banned before the weekend, should I transfer him out before the ban hits?

I have a host of options to put in his place:

Barkley - Never done a thing for me this season, saved his best form for when I kicked him out of the team :mad:

Arnautovic - On the beach?

Sigurdsson - Swansea...

Wijnaldum - Name rings a bell, what happened to him?

Tadic - Could be?

Townsend - Wild card, you never know.

Lamela - A spud for a Spud-U-Like

Mané - Hmmm

What about Payet or Lanzini? Both have double game weeks next week.
 
Used my wildcard. Put Townsend and Darlow on the bench. Goal, clean sheet and penalty save all worth a big fat 0 to my team :lol:
 
What are people's view on taking hits to make extra transfers? I'm about 30 points behind the leader in my league in just 2 gameweeks to go, worth gambling with 2-3 transfers a week or would the minus points just make things worse?

Depends on what the leader is like. In previous years when I've been in 1st toward the end I've adapted my team to see off 2nd's big hitters. If they do that also, you'd need to change anyway.

He's definitely doing that, but I'm still not sure taking multiple -4 hits is worth it. Even if the players I bring in all score a goal, the minus four cancels that out.
 
Captain Payet or Defoe? Both have to perform in the double game weeks.
 
awful season so far, and in hindsight a mad triple captain choice in Carroll!
Though hopefully it still looks mad after Tuesday :nervous:
 
I went travelling for 8 weeks so I didn't even bother looking at my team. Still somehow in the top 500,000. Managed 104 points in one of the weeks I was away for :lol:

I used my all out attack last week - failed miserably.
I used my triple captain this week - Rashford didn't even play in the first game :lol:
Final week I shall use my bench boost.
 
Led through February and then took too many risks so had to claw my way back into the last few weeks. #1 and 2 in my league both have 2134pts to my 2131. Planning on bringing in Tadic and Giroud for Firmino and Costa, then have to decide between Sanchez or Aguero. Thinking Sanchez will be the obvious captain so I feel Aguero would differentiate.

Can you or anyone help me with my team? I was 100 pts clear of my rival and now I'm only 7 pts ahead in a $500 money league.

I don't think any of your Liverpool players will start.

So firmino out for mane / Tadic and Sturridge out for Giroud. Captain Sanchez. No point in playing all our attack as Milner won't play. Start Gabriel, Smalling and Ward (though he might get rested).

What does your rivals team look like? I'm worried you don't have Aguero

Firmino to Mane. Sturridge to one of the guys in the race for the golden boot.

My rivals team is on the right in that picture... my team is on the left.

I was thinking of doing:

Sturridge > Giroud (or Aguero.. but I'm not sure about Aguero because my rival already has him and is it worth going -4 to cover a rivals player?)
Milner > KDB
Firminho > Tadic

Thoughts?

Ah I see. I like both of those transfers , I'm bringing KdB and Tadic or Mane. Really can't decide between the 2, I think Mane is more likely to explode with goals.

It's going to be close in your league !

What to do with Aguero or Giroud?

If you can afford Aguero and those other transfers I'd be tempted to do that. Otherwise Giroud is a great shout this week. Both good shouts. Maybe check whether your rival has taken any Hite on transfers (look to the bottom right on his teams page next to game week transfers). If he's taken a hit then go for it

He's taken 1 transfer but with Payet out now, he may be forced to do 2.

So far I'm thinking:

Milner > KDB
Firmino > Mane
Sturridge > Giroud

AND/OR

Willian > Walcott OR.. Carrol > Aguero
 
@Ronaldo's Mum Eh? Giroud had to be in your team because arsenal destroy small teams and they don't get much worse than villa, plus giroud is their only striker.

If captain Sanchez as you don't have aguero.

Get in tadic or mane as CP won't put in any effort

I wouldn't do Walcott, not guaranteed to start and has been terrible this season. Keep and play Willian.

Your 3 transfers above that look great though. Or Sturridge to Aguero and Milner to Tadic

Alright fair enough but if I do Sturridge to Aguero, then I'm just wasting -4 to cover a player my rival already has, no?

Allardyce spoke of playing some of the under 21s so it isn't a guarantee, but I would say he is pretty likely to play but still im looking at switching him for shane long. Then my front three will be him carroll (I know he has been terrible but stoke ship goals of late) and rashford.

That's the move I was looking at too along with Milner > Tadic. However, it appears Payet might be out as well so plans are probably gonna change.
 
Team De Gea Mannone, Smalling Monreal Alderweireld Cresswell PVA, Hazard eriksen Mahrez Sanchez (will be cap'n) Payet, Carroll Defoe Rashford and 1.1 in the bank.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have only one free transfer, I'm thinking defoe for Long? or maybe Rashford for Martial then swapping out mahrez for some budget bench midfielder?

I had no idea about Payet, I've just seen it on twitter after searching for it, that's a bit hidden. I am top of my mini league at the minute so don't want to take to big of a minus preferably, I may just do payet and carrol for giroud and tadic.
