Thought this would be a good week for me. So far, so shit. Richards and Clyne have bottled their cleansheets. Butland for Stoke stood no chance of getting a cleansheet when they're down to 9 men

yeah that's what I went with in the end...Kompany was always first choice, although to be honest Darmian was probably 2nd on the list...in the end it was more or less a guess between Gomez and Targett...I chose Gomez and now West Ham are winning 2-0 at Anfield

no biggie, I just now saw your comment so it would've been too late to follow any advice anyway, what's done is done...although I gotta say this week already sucks. Got Butland with 8 players infront of him in goal, already blew the CS, Gomez as previously mentioned, Sanchez who again has done feck all, Mahrez and Silva who so far also haven't done jack shit, with Diouf and (C) Aguero also doing nothing for me.
The only player that got me any points so far is the one transfer I made this week, Wilson (took out Gomis) after taking him out after the first 2 weeks when on a wildcard the week before.

Wow, I seem enternally cursed with players who play well if you watch them in games but happen to not get any points for fantasy football. Silva being a prime example.

Hopefully... although he was Sky Sport's MOTM last week and he didn't get one single bonus point on fantasy football. Paul Merson must be on their bonus point panel.

Took Sinclair out a couple of weeks ago, scored a brace today.
Brought in Mahrez at last, gets taken off after 45 minutes after scoring three game weeks in a row.
For the second week running chose the wrong keeper while the other got a ton of points.
My captain (aguero) got me a minimal 4 points.
No assists from my top players (sanchez, aguero)
Hoping Kane, Depay and Darmian get me points now or im fecked.

Benteke is a useless lump who will start scoring for fun as soon as I trade him. So as a United fan it is my duty to keep him as long as possible. Cant believe Wilson was still only 5.5m I picked him up last week for the easy points.
At this point I think I'm better off leaving my team alone and just waiting for them all to come back into form rather than making things worse with more transfers. Ugh.

Getting pretty sick of my forwards constantly letting me down. I think this is the fourth week running now when my backline is set to get me more points than my attack.
Also fourth week running my captain has garnered a measly 2 points. Bunch of bottle jobs.

Took a -8 point gamble to bring in Aguero, Mahrez and Kolarov and it did not pay of. I expected Mahrez to score a couple against their opposition and Manchester City to beat Watford comfortably with aguero scoring a few goals. This season seems harder to predict. I expect Rooney and Depay to do well this week just to mess with me.
You'd be better off getting Rondon who's a cheaper version of Benteke and guaranteed to get you goals.
I'm not too concerned about Mahrez not getting me points. I'm more concerned about whether he'll be starting the next game. With him getting benched after the first half, this is a big concern for me.

Just saw on the MOTD that Ward scored. Feck sold it yesterday to buy Shaw and i got -4 points for it and as i said before i forgot to put Shaw in the lineup and the Smith who played instead only got 1 point. Unlucky
here are my picks for captain so far this season:
GW1 : Hazard (4 points)
GW2 : Depay (6 points)
GW3 : Aguero (4 points)
GW4 : Aguero (4 points)
on a side-note I've played Courtois in GW1 with Rooney being my topscorer with 5 points. Onto GW2 where a wrongfully allowed goal from Benteke (and consequently 3 points for Liverpool) meant I finally had a player aside from Romero who actually got me some points.
GW3 is where I made some progress although nothing mindblowing and even that's mostly cause I used my WC to basicaly reshape the whole team, and while doing so I transfered out Wilson after playing him for the first 2 weeks.
GW4 looks to be a poor one as well, but atleast it looks like most people are more or less on the same boat as me this time around.
Looking to break into the top 100 after today's fixtures.
Schocker so far, 20 points with Darmian, Smalling, Mata and Pelle to play. Can't see that improve much except when we keep a clean sheet against Swansea.
44 points at the moment with Shaw and Memphis to play today...
