Well I guess it is upto Erics Collar to decide but it would be a bit annoying as I discounted Gullit

the rule reads:
"...the player must have played in at least 40 games in the Premiership/Premier League."

Which Gullit has not ...

Yes indeed - in his prime he was one of the best defenders in the world - I remember he was immense for England at Italia 90 and even kept Van Basten in his back pocket against Holland

Had a bit of a failed season in Serie A and should really have played for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday when he came back to the Premier League but I suppose Wednesday were pretty good in those days

Carragher could not ever reach Batty's ankles as a midfield strong man... And admittedly Batty would never be able to defend like Carragher... What's the point you make?

Compare Stam and Carragher and then we're talking... ;)

The write up in this part of the draft isnt too important, but there will be a big write up at the end of the draft to explain your selection, tactics, strong points etc. If people dont put enough effort into it they will be disqualified. Its only fair.

Then don't vote for his team, it's as simple as that.
How does him not writing a bunch of useless facts and other info harm you? I'm sure you'll be able to judge his team anyway. And if it's because you don't know the players yourself then I'm sure you'll be able to find some info of each player on Google.

it is a bit disappointing when people dont make any effort - many people wanted to be involved in this so it would enhance the experiment for everyone with a bit more info

however I will say that Danish Voice is not necessarily the worst offender on this issue - some have posted just a name and a pic, which is pretty crap to be honest.

I think that I might be one of them!

Although I do agree that people have put in effort by posting up their players' honours and youtube videos I don't think it will make much of a difference tbh. When I'm done picking I'm going to do a writeup on my team giving my own opinions on why I've picked them and it will be more insightful than a bunch of honours and such.

I think I have the most easy-to-hate team.. I also had one absolutely superb cnut lined up, and he still hasn't been picked. But I have no use to him now.
