Interesting. I'd have gone 442 but maybe a good midfielder will be easier to get as opposed to a good striker.

Either way that midfield will take some beating.

The thing is I want to utlise the power of my wingbacks, which is difficult in 4-4-2.

Pires and Kanchelskis were prolific enough together to be as powerful as (or more than) the striker that would partner Anelka in 4-4-2. While Sagna and Le Saux do their work high up the pitch as wingers. Leaving Vieira and Mystery Man to cover the defence, as Fabregas provides as the link man for the 3 attackers.

It's a Dyanmic 4-5-1/4-3-3 I guess.

 didn't realise i was thinking this much.

smug bastard with your defence pretty much sorted!

anyway it was not Heinze - pick him at your peril ... the Caf will not be amused

My team so far:

---------------- Friedel ---------------
RB --------- Stam ----- CB -------- LB
----------------- Batty ---------------
Agbonlahor ---- Juninho ------------ LW
--------- Drogba -------- Solskjaer ----

Quite decent, I'd say...

isnt Agbonlahor a striker rather than a winger?

i guess there is no rule to have to put players in their recognised positions so it is fair enough

Agbonlahor plays in both positions. It's about the same debate about where Ronaldo plays...

I'm going to Ronaldo in his usual position, starting at RW and can roam wherever he likes.

Yes, one of them... Gosh, how did you guess? You've blown it now... :(

No, but really, there are a few decent LBs left...

I can think of one. He's not well liked 'round these parts.

He should be allowed to. I might stick Micky up top for a clash with Liverpool...

Just curious, Vinay, if we did a fantasy draft pick for all time, will you pick Messi as your first choice?
