I got back to this. How can I get enough ammo? I seem to run into radscorpions all the time and waste all my ammo fighting them, I barely have enough bullets left to continue the game.
Wow, I've only found 2 radscorpians so far and I'm about 35 hours in? Plenty of wild mongrels and mirelurks though. Then again I still haven't gone that far south or progressed the main quest very far - only retook the Castle last night.
I've come across at least five in the last 3 hours. They're a pain.
Got up to the Brotherhood Of Steel mission last night, when you first get onto the Vertibird and my fecking game crashed again mid way through the flight.

You should probably get the scrounger perk if you struggle with ammo

They're this stupid?Actually I had a nice glitch where the game autosaved in the middle of a fight with one of them feckers and it was when my health was at minimum and my gun was empty so I'd have to switch weapon/reload but I couldn't because in split seconds I'd get attacked and killed. I'd also not have enough time to click circle and use a Stimpak. It took me between 30-50 tries to manage to start a game and not die in 0.1 seconds and the solution was to sprint as quickly as possible away from scorpion and use stimpak. Still it took me 15 tries to press sprint in time and not get killed instantly (0.1 seconds, literally this amount of time from save file loaded to imminent death).

Depends how derelict they look. The fresher ones can definitely blow up. Which happened to me last time I got swarmed by mirelurks, scared the shit out of me!

Does anyone else get really bad framerates in the city areas? Outside of good neighbour I think it must be going below 20-15 at times and it's horrible to play. Maybe they shouldn't have put in vertibirds and stuff in those areas as the game clearly can't handle it.

Started playing this yesterday, a bit disappointed with the graphics and animations. Feels like a slightly enhanced version of Fallout 3 but with a bit more color.

Yep. I run the game on Ultra averaging around 120fps but in the Commons area I get around 18-30.
I played the last fallouts on PC, the only thing that is annoying me is having to use a controller as my Mrs got F4 for me on PS4 and I didn't want to hurt her feelings by swapping it for the PC version.
That's pretty much all it is. You have the extra base building element and a streamlined levelling system but its pretty much more of the same. Not that its a bad thing but this will probably be the last time Bethesda get away with it.
Yep. I got attacked by a group of bandits so I hid behind a car to stimpak up. A couple of these bastards peppered the area with bullets, blowing the car, themselves, me and dog meat up in the process ffs.
Anybody had the glitch where dog meat turns into super dog and starts flying around? He got stuck between two floors with just his head poking out of the upper levels floor. I had to go back to an early save as exiting and then re-entering the building didn't fix the issue. Apart from that, this is a cracking game!!

It is definitely fun so long as you don't go in with too high expectations. I think history will inevitably look back on Fallout 4 as being one of Bethesda's poorest efforts though. It is a game that could have come out 4 years ago and would still not have been cutting edge stuff. Still a fun game though if you enjoy Bethesda's style.

I've never actually seen them raid the farm, it's that Blake Abernathy keeps asking me to go to places to deal with them, think the fecker is using me.
So, ive got a 3ghz quad core, 16gb ram, and a 560ti gpu, Do i get this on PC or Ps4?
Hard to say with that GPU, might be time for an upgrade, you should probably find a decent midrange video card for a good price around this time.
Otherwise definitely PC if you can manage it, the mods make this game so, so much better.
Always PC if it can run it decently, which I think you should be able to on medium-ish settings. You may want to upgrade your gpu soon though as Kaos said.
