Is that you Charlie Nicholas?

Yet we've scored 15 more goals this season than at the same stage last season.United had more expected points after 24 PL games last season, before Bruno signed, than they had this season after 24 PL games with Bruno. The same is still true after 26 games in both seasons.

Mad.West Brom's last five home Premier League wins have each come under a different manager - Allardyce, Slaven Bilic, Darren Moore, Alan Pardew and Tony Pulis.
I was convinced Dino Baggio was the brother of Roberto Baggio...
That’s fecking madScholes and Rooney played 8 and a half seasons together and Scholes only assisted Rooney on one occasion..
The 2007 semi against Milan.
That is hilarious, one of the strangest stats for sure.Scholes and Rooney played 8 and a half seasons together and Scholes only assisted Rooney on one occasion..
The 2007 semi against Milan.
Not that hard to believe. Benzema played No9 for Real every single game, while we played Rooney everywhere on the pitch bar GK and DC.Karim Benzema has more goals for Real Madrid than Wayne Rooney has for Man United

Roberto Carlos has more more CL goals than R9.

A true statement about performance metrics is still a fact.
I found it very surprising, considering the narrative around Bruno and how much United have supposedly kicked on and improved thanks to his signing.
exactly, anyone saying Bruno didn't made us a creditable threat is just a FIFA playing nerd. This is why watching the games is preferrable to jerking off to spreadsheets.
West Ham are unbeaten this season against Spurs and everyone else outside the traditional big 6
Saw they had 8 defeats and counted Arsenal twiceThey lost to Newcastle. That's their only defeat.
That one assists counts for 10 though. What a pass that was

Just to be sure: you do know that neither of these players is Lindelof, right?Read the other day that Lindelof is 6' 2", so equals to Rio and 1" shorter than Vidic.
And I'm talking about their height.
There must be some optical illusion involved?
Scholes was so overrated. I mean, how could anyone think otherwise with such a poor assist record to the White Pelé?Scholes and Rooney played 8 and a half seasons together and Scholes only assisted Rooney on one occasion..

Not that hard to believe. Both spent 12 years at their clubs and Benzema always played centre forward, while Rooney played left wing, number 10 & central midfield in several games.Karim Benzema has more goals for Real Madrid than Wayne Rooney has for Man United
Just wait until you see his assist record for the actual Pele, it's abysmal!Scholes was so overrated. I mean, how could anyone think otherwise with such a poor assist record to the White Pelé?
No Rio or Vidic also.Just to be sure: you do know that neither of these players is Lindelof, right?

He only really played one CL season. That was 98 99 and even then he wasn't at his best anymore. Everything that came after 99 is Just a shell of his former self. And yes, that includes the 02 World Cup.Scholes' brain operated on a level above, he was a stunning player. Rooney had brilliant footballing intelligence, too, there's just silly stereotypes about him.
I guess in my head Benzema hasn't been there more than a decade, while the narrative came out that he was "underwhelming" compared to Ronaldo. His record is anything but!
R9 had a weirdly poor CL career for such a sensational player playinzg for multiple fantastic teams in Europe.
What, he wasn't? Damn.I was convinced Dino Baggio was the brother of Roberto Baggio...
The 1999 team, United's most successful and arguably greatest side, was, Schmeichel; Gary Neville, Johnsen, Stam, Irwin; Beckham, Keane, Scholes, Giggs; Yorke, Cole. However, as Opta's Duncan Alexander has highlighted, this team only played together once in the Premier League, a 1-0 victory away to Coventry City in February '99.
