Don't worry Fellas, Fergie's Man will be here soon to lift our spirits up and tell us exactly why this is on. I don't know how, I don't know when, I just know that he will.

Never believed a word of it, but I am the eternal optimist. :-)

To be honest, I hate the Spanish and I think we should drop more concrete blocks in the Med.

I think the boy is a liar though.

FFS,

I wish people would stop thinking Manchester United work in a Football Manager game.

Our ability/inability to sign a player has nothing to do with Moyes, that isn't his job, it's Woodwards. Opposition fans will want to look for any reason to slate Moyes from an early start to disrupt fans' confidence. DOnt bloody play into their hands.
Nothing to do with Moyes whatsoever

Summary:

Fabregas: "I'm Happy in Barcelona. Never have thought to go...never I thought of something else to follow...I want to succeed here."

So much for private encouragement, oh there must something happening behind the scenes, oh United are to big make blind bids....

anyone with half brain knew the outcome from day 1

Woodward and Moyes have cost me a tenner, the thoughtless cnuts.

But if i just post in here Pete will never be able to reply.

You have to remember that there are two new figures in charge of our transfer dealings. What we did and our approach during SAF/Gill era has evidently changed with Moyes/Woodward in charge.

As I've said before, the possibility of making a blind bid was always there.

So, Fabregas, in a Barca press conference says he never had any doubt, and you just gobble it all up? If there had been encouragement do you think he'd have admitted it?

I've no doubt United were given the nod from someone to have a go at signing him. Whether it was a ploy for an ulterior motive is another thing entirely.

As people have said, the odd thing with this story is that most people on a forum could see what game was being played here. The question is why couldn't Woodward and Moyes? You guys will be longing for the Peter Kenyon days if this carries on.

While I'm not going to criticise anyone before the season starts, I can certainly see why United fans are feeling iffy about everything here.

New manager, new faces, new coaching staff, no Fergie, Rooney wanting out, no new players, no midfield repair, transfer targets not wanting to come....Obviously only an idiot would judge the club's new era before it's even begun but, I can certainly understand people feeling down about all of this

No new deal for Nani neither so far, on the positive side we have about 3 new sponsorship deals and one of them secures that people in africa will be provided with Manchester United credit cards.

so where did the nod come from? The player? He denied it? Barca's officials? No. Managers? No. Tea lady?

The amount of time wasted in both Thiago and Fabregas' threads is incredible

We really are a different breed.

 feck's sake I'm trying to act sad here. Not helping.

Can we lock this now?

To the *insert name here* thread!! etc etc

feck, if the Gooners, Spurs gonks and Kop Twats weren't bad enough, now we've got the bloody Toffees sticking the boot in.

When was the last time you won anything? When? Yeah, exactly. Now go sit in the corner with Glaston and Storey.

Yet, i have some genuine comment to support my case and you live acnumber9's wonderland
You haven't a clue what sparked Utd's interest and whether they'd any encouragement from the player or his agent. Despite this you have your steadfast opinion and say anyone who has a different opinion doesn't know shit. Note the difference in Utd's actions before and after the change of manager. Things change you know.

Fellaini will not be easy to pry away from Martinez & the Toffees either, I think. Isco was the player, perhaps, that United should've targeted, IMO

Eriksen, Gündoğan and perhaps Wilshere are the best remaining options although it seems a bit late in the transfer window & preseason to land targets like that.

Isco, more than Thiago & Cesc, I think will be the one that truly got away for ManUnited

ah i see, Barca are playing their game so we increase the bid.....

yeah I'll just walk away now

It was your half a brain comment, you cock. There are plenty of much smarter people than you, that have faith in their club and believe.

Belief without proof is faith and the definition of faith is loyalty......... to your club.

Coming out at the end and saying, "I told you so" is the action of a right nob. If the cap fits, wear it big boy.

Why would he admit it? Do you think Rooney will admit talking with Chelsea if he doesn't sign for them?

Moyes has just confirmed that our next transfer target will be a unicorn

I hear he's capable of a bit of magic, and galloping through the midfield. SIGN HIM UP

Fellaini has a release clause. Sadly.

I never thought we would be signing him. But I cannot blame United for bidding when the player would have told them he would be interested.

And I don't want to see any muppets commiting suicide over the horrible tragedy of not getting a player we bid for, when those same muppets would be going apeshit if it came out that United had received encouragement yet never even tried.

I'm not sure how you can justify the last part of that paragraph when most of this place had the opinion we were being played.
