Come on, AN. As if! I'm just playin' along......

I'm convinced that this saga is more up and down than the Thiago one. I mean, how many times have we been convinced "Oh no, this is done" and then we somehow manage to get dragged back into it with some juicy information. Today: Fabregas' tweet = not looking good, Alves' quotes = looking good.

What time is the Barca press conference tomorrow when he'll confirm he is staying?

Don't think there is any Barca press conference tomorrow when he'll confirm he is staying scheduled.

There is a Barca presss conference though tomorrow :)

It would be difficult for Martino or Cesc to say anything until we land the third bid on the table.

I still believe these are poker faces on show and this may last a while yet.

I do believe we will sign somebody this week, I can smell it in Moyes' water.

I'm sure SkySports just said a third bid has gone in. Was only half paying attention though and nothing on the ticker.

Come back to this at the end of the window. Its a mute point at this stage of the window even though your point might be proven true.

It isn't moot imo, we are on this forum everyday. We comment on the club on a day-to-day basis. RIGHT now we have signed nobody while Europe's best teams have gotten better.

My point is no club buys poor quality. They all hope that the player will be good to top quality. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way eg Ashley Young, Djemba-Djemba and other such failures. Sometimes, you need a player but can't always get top quality. We wanted Eden Hazard but Van Persie instead.

Did I say we did? My point was wanting to see somebody better than Felliani and Cabaye. A player who is at a higher level and so more likely to succeed.
