Fabregas to Barcelona!

A Thiago swap + cash would be interesting imo.

I still think Le'Arse has more important issues to think of rather than Cesc... His heart has drifted towards Barca years ago...

I'd rather sort our Arshavin's problem and maybe even address a replacement for him.

Hes a Barca boy. His heart was already there. Well that and they started winning things...... Can't really blame him, it is is home club and he probably feels he is missing out on a lot!

I think we should gO for thiago...doubt he'd want to come though!

Cesc please go to barca

He's actually currently now living a few minutes away from me, it's temporary apparently.

If you go by recent scouser deals, the market is more inflated than Nick's beer gut.

You don't think it would be?

Why do people always assume the worst when I make a perfectly harmless comment?

35 million pounds for Fabregas would be peanuts, that's what I'm saying. And quite frankly, it would drive me crazy. A world-class midfielder for cheap money (relatively to his quality) - these Barca chaps are just too lucky.

Calm down, dear. I was responding to Cesc's. Clearly he'd be good value at that price.

I don't know what your complex is about. I suspect none of us really give a toss about you one way or the other.

Has anyone ever been signed with a cheeky bid? Maybe Van der Vaart last summer?

You can have Almunia for a cheeky £1m since it looks as if you'll be starting with Kuszczak otherwise.

Al may not be good enough for a top4 team but he's is waaaay better than your PIG.

Anyway, we don't need Almunia as we've got De Gea to slot into the back line.

And if not, then Lindegaard - though I wish we'd sign keepers who's name I don't have to google every time - and let's face it, you couldn't look more like a top class keeper than he does:

I don't care what you say, that is the face of a top class goalkeeper.

For example

i wonder if fabregas feels insulted by the fees barca is willing to pay for him.

if madrid were pissing about with those kind of fees for ronnie, you know he'd feel insulted by madrid for rating him so low.

Fabregas IMO is the third best CM on the planet behind chavvy and iniesta and he's younger. Easily worth 60 million minimum given where the market is right now.

I think Barca is spot on with their pricing. Fabergas has a reputation of being a great player, while in reality we only saw a good player seeing more of the bench than the field, especially last season.

Are you telling me his contributions last year for Arsenal were worth 60 million euros?! Even 37 years old Giggs had more impact on our season than him on Arsenal's.
