FA Premier League - 25/02/25 to 27/02/25

Which brings us back to the debate. Is it the system or the players? The answer is the players. Wolves can do it without a ST.

It's not the system, because the players have been poor in other systems, although we did well under ten Hag during his first season, finishing 3rd and winning a cup.

For me, I'd argue that if the answer to whether Palace and Wolves have a better team or squad than us is no, then the issue has to be the manager. In my opinion, he should be getting more out of our current squad. That said, the players also need to take some responsibility.

Palmer should have had a hatrick already. Unbelievable sitters he’s missed this half.

We are miles miles off the likes of Palace, Newcastle, Villa, Brighton, Bournemouth. Never mind Liverpool, City and Arsenal.

Should be 5-0 really. I’ll take a 2-0 lead going into HT though.

Much needed confidence booster this.

I swear palace are the most unpredictable team in the league

Sarr scores for Palace. Rashford did some of his pretend pressing where he gets within 4 yards of the player and crouches a bit before he put the cross in for the assist.

How come we get the lines for one goal and not the other. Both looked well tight

Haha I noticed that. Didn't even get close to the player.

Prem is such a competitive league. Crystal Palace cooking Villa like benihana

Adam Wharton is really a big talent. And we need a new central midfield instead of Eriksen or/and Casemiro.

The standard of the "mid-table" Prem teams is much higher nowadays.

It's why all the Championship sides go back down... And why we're 15th.

Mitchell on a free from Palace must be worth a look at LWB in the summer.

Interesting that Rashford is still a sub despite being the best player in the world since his loan move.

Always so happy to see Solly March come on

Bar the obvious few it seems like everyone is having a really weird season. Villa are 10th and likely to make a Champions League QF.

If we decide to replace Amorim, Glasner is in my top 3 picks to replace him alongside Frank and Iraola. He'll be cheaper and more gettable than those two.
