FA Cup 2023/24

Klopp just throws youngsters out there and it works.

Would be nice to have a manager with a pair of balls.
We can’t even do that with senior players. We have no hope with youngsters.

From all the youngsters, Bradley and Quensah aside, Danns certainly looks like a serious prospect. Hard to tell with the others like McConnell or Clark, who have more difficult positions in midfield to assess.

He looks decent based on a couple of appearances, but I'm always wary of over-hyping young players based off of a couple of appearances. So many drift off into obscurity after a decent cameo or two.

So no doubt Southampton starting average age was less than Liverpool's, and their finishing average was younger too?

I think he has one of the most dangeous profile in youth players, a late growth spurt. That usually means until 16/17 he got by with his skills rather than his physicality. Now you have the technique and skills of a small player in a big body.

All that being said if United can´t do some iteration of this Liverpool team at home, they should just end themselves.

Mid March. Little over two weeks.
Ok. I'd expect Salah, Nunez, Szoboszlai, Endo and Gravenberch to be available by then. Assuming we don't get any other injuries, TAA, Alisson, Jones (maybe) & Jota would be major absences.

Maybe something like this: Kelleher; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Gomez/Robertson; Endo, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.

Really does depend if anyone else gets injured before then but Alisson, TAA, Jota & Jones will probably miss out. Matip, Bajcetic & Thiago are longer term but I don't count any of them. We've been without them for ages.

Good win that but no way do we have it that way at OT. Can see another closer game than many predict.

Imagine the scenes if Liverpool's chances of the quad are ended by their arch rivals at Old Trafford.

It'd be too early in the season. It won't seem so momentous. Would be nice for Klopp to have his final FA cup match at Old Trafford though.

Nice to be in quarterfinal again but can't see us winning it. We'd have to beat Liverpool and then City at some point, same City that beat us last season in the final. So beating both Liverpool and City would be difficult even if we were having good season.

If Klopp goes young against united and manages a win at Old Trafford the meltdown would be epic. There’s no way he would do that would he?

There is no guarentee that City will beat Newcastle though

When will the dates be confirmed for the next round. Think we’ll probably play it on the 17th march.

Aluko always sounds punch drunk. Just tries to bang in as many of the common phrases as she can. She's up there with Michael Owen in how useful their insight isn't.

Wolves are leggy from the weekend apparently.
