FA Cup 2023/24

I’m proud of how we played yesterday, with us clearly the better team for long spells, and to be honest am not too disappointed about losing on penalties.

What is more frustrating, is putting in a performance like that in a cup game (admittedly a free hit), when we’re struggled to play anywhere near as well as that in the League.

QF DRAW

Wolves or Brighton vs Coventry

Nottingham Forest or Manchester United vs Liverpool or Southampton

Chelsea or Leeds vs Leicester

Manchester City vs Newcastle

Southampton have a chance with Liverpools line up. Thought our injury’s was bad…

Leeds are missing their 3 best players too.

Long way to go but Chelsea look way off again.

Jenas's musings are more inane than ever. He's actually regressed. Even Shearer achieved some semblance of improvement after years of analysis.

Southampton is doing like many teams do lately against Liverpool. Cutting through them. But they can't finish.

Liverpool have this knack of giving teams 5 one-on-ones, 4 open goals, and allow teams to have 10+ shots on goal but yet still somehow win

Gakpo can watch and learn. He had three of them. No wonder Nunez plays over Gakpo. At least Nunez hits the post or goalie on his attempts not the corner flag.
Yeah last two games haven't been great from him. He's probably fifth choice if all of the attacking five are fit.
