F1 2023 Season

Are F1 strategists dumb ? If the track is that wet on a certain part it's Inters all day. Inters can survive on a dry line more than a dry tyre can survive on a damp line.

Even if Alonso pit for Inters he wouldn't have caught up and overtaken Max as he came in the next lap anyway. Still incorrect decision but probably based on Stroll on Inters before the rain got worse.

Aston Martin with one of the dumbest decisions I have ever seen

It's staggering. You have the whole of F1 history to look back on and make your decision. A track with mixed conditions is always Inters.

Max and both Mercedes did well with their decisions there.

Verstappen is so jammy

He made a decision to go on inters while 20 years more experienced Alonso made a wrong call in same situation. That's not jammy, that's masterclass.

How is Alonso “only” 22 secs behind after pitting twice

Max made a mistake while he was on slicks.

They basically had this strategy for 20+ laps waiting for rain. They were on hard and max was on 55 lap old mediums so I just can’t get why they went in for dry tyres again
