So exactly what @Redlambs was saying thenRed Bull have tweeted saying it was a suspected fuel pump issue.

I do want Horner to appear at some point so we get a better idea of that's happened, seems to have got issues with hydraulics system.
What's all this talk about karma for Red Bull then? It's not their fault the FIA / Masi fecked up
Gone full cafe mode!So petty, I love it
Fair play to both Horner and Max, both gave very calm interviews, both would have been fuming.
I actually dont really dislike Max, despite my salty comment before.
Seems, MV winning* last season really did a number on some.
Didnt watch F1 races like i used to for few years now, do you think this season will be worth of follow and watch, with new changes etc?
Thought both gave very good interviews
I don't think so, atleast probably not the first third of the season. Today's race was absolutely boring really, except for the end and 1-2 moments in the beginning. There is a good chance you will find more entertainment in this thread though.Seems, MV winning last season really did a number on some.

Very calm, collected and level-headed.They did. Actually interesting to watch and informative.
Max sounded like he was melting down in the car. Always forget what adrenaline does to a driver.Very calm, collected and level-headed.

Mercedes will still be way more worried than Red Bull.
They were on course to finish a full minute behind Ferrari and Red Bull there, less safety cars and fuel pumps.
I wouldn't say it's as inevitable as it was last season. Last season they were already the fastest car in Portugal and Spain. Their engine was comfortably the best engine. McLaren and Aston Martin were competitive, Russell was sneaking into some top 10 shootouts in qualy in the Williams.
Whereas now the 6 lapped cars are all Mercedes powered.
The hate for Verstappen from Brits is funny and pretty pathetic, it’s like you’re trying to create a persona that doesn’t exist. Verstappen is likeable (check his followers), he is interesting, he is perfect for the sport.
Have to say, this race has been incredibly boring before the Red Bulls shutting down. Hope they haven’t spoilt the sport by creating too many new things, it all seems less speedy, less exciting, a bit slower and controlled.
Props to Ferrari for creating a car that is obviously much better than the others, didn’t see that coming. Mercedes look like they are in for a really bad season, certainly didn’t see that coming.
So damn happy for Magnusson and Haas.

Yeah great race from Ferrari, impressive car they've built themselves with good drivers to boot.FERRARI 1-2, get the feck in!!!
I think an enormous amount of salt might have something to do with it.

Not always the case… just because it’s standard doesn’t mean it isn’t being pushed to its limit, being run out of spec or packaged in a way that compromises it.Watching Ted's Notebook and he said the fuel pump is a standard component shared by all teams so I guess that failure was kind of out of their hands.
