Leclerc could lose this championship due to the incompetence of sainz and the amount of money he is costing ferrari in repairs, which reduces the amount they can spend on updates.

We'll see how it goes this year, but there may be calls for repairs not to come out of the cap if it's not a drivers fault. If somebody takes a driver out and they end up suffering from not having upgrades later in the year it's a bit of a double punishment.
