Yeah understand he is playing the long game, but not sure it will work. At least hope it's a close race by the end.Means Vettel can push without worrying about tyres. He doesn't have to close the gap, just keep it close until the final stint where he'll be on the faster tyres. With conditions like this, he needed clear air, the longer he was behind Bottas the less he could push while still sticking with a pit on lap 40 or whatever.
Edit: Looks like he is gaining now so maybe this will become interesting soon after all.
