I am a Lewis fan, but the comments by him and the team are shocking, I cant defend either.Do you undestand now why the antics of Lewis and right now Mercedes bother me.

Feck him with his whining all day long when not in p1. Insecure bastard.
Mate just give it a rest. First he got taken out he has every right to moan about that and he wasn’t moaning during the race. Drivers have to report what’s going on. He doesn’t pick what team radio goes on TV, I can guarantee you Seb is just as bad in these situations.

Its fine mate. I'm chill.
Clearly not, you mentioned it a number of times. You seem really angry at Lewis and his team radio.
Not just that. he just implied that Ferrari did it on purpose, saying nice tactics from them. Totto followed up in his interview saying that it's could be deliberate.
Not a chance. If it ever does happen, that'd be where I stop racing.
That will be the death of F1 if it does happen , do not want it , F1 should be about raw speed and power , not yellow flags for no reason.
There as various factors at play. I think the sport is fine with core fans but I'm not sure in 2018 the whether it us attracting new eyes like it did with me in '98. Would changes even fail attract new eyes? Maybe and they might end up pi**ing off core viewers. I consider myself a core viewer but I'd never recommend F1 to anybody (I'd steer them towards MotoGP). The sport is not future proof, races are too long and not enough wheel to wheel action at the business end of the field. Solutions are needed and competition yellows are worth considering.
Have watched nascar, the yellow comes out for the same reason as F1 and goes full safety car at the same time. That first safety car has totally revitalised the race. NASCAR do the whole bunching up thing for exactly this reason (competition yellow I think they call it). Don't be surprised to hear talk of this coming to F1 in the near future especially with the owners being American and all.
They have plenty of crashes so they have many chances to bunch the field up that way but they also do thisHave watched nascar, the yellow comes out for the same reason as F1 and goes full safety car at the same time.
This is basically a safety car for debris on the track, which happens anyway, they don’t throw yellows just to make them bunch up, that’s just the nature of a safety car, when a competition yellow comes out a safety car comes out as wellThey have plenty of crashes so they have many chances to bunch the field up that way but they also do this

This has the effect of bunching up the field as well.
Yes because drivers aren't known to be diplomatic at all. After every crash they come to an interview and start shouting expletives. Must be some amazing post race interviews which I have missed. Not a chance. If it ever does happen, that'd be where I stop racing.
You mean, like Kimi did? His opinion isn't worth looking at apparently.
When the interviewer was speaking to Ricciardi, she apologised for his language. Couldn't make out what he actually said though?Yes because drivers aren't known to be diplomatic at all. Edit: just seen Lewis and Toto dropping absolute bollocks in their post race interviews .
Ok, so I guess we are both correct. This is basically a safety car for debris on the track, which happens anyway, they don’t throw yellows just to make them bunch up, that’s just the nature of a safety car, when a competition yellow comes out a safety car comes out as well
There is a huge chasm between saying that no-one was to blame and shouting expletives for goodness sake. There are hundreds of examples of drivers criticising others post race, from the criticism of multiple offenders like Grosjean, Kvyat and Verstappen himself to stuff like Hulkenberg and Magnussen from Hungary last year (although there were expletives here) or Ocon and Raikkonen in Baku where both blamed each other. And now we can add Lewis as another example here.Yes because drivers aren't known to be diplomatic at all. After every crash they come to an interview and start shouting expletives. You also had that time Vettel ran into the back of Lewis behind a SC. Both seemed to blame each other. There is a huge chasm between saying that no-one was to blame and shouting expletives for goodness sake. Yep. Drivers are always willing to blame other drivers, including some where the other driver did nothing wrong like the incident you mention. Also forgot the amazing Hamilton-Mass feud, both were blaming each other every weekend for something. You also had that time Vettel ran into the back of Lewis behind a SC. Thinking about it you had the Hamilton/Rosberg incidents too. Not really new though when very competitive people clashing- eg Senna threatening to punch other drivers, back in the day.Yep. Yeah, exactly. F1 drivers have always clashed, they can be diplomatic in other respects but they are quite often very angry with each other, especially after collisions. My favourite was Schumacher marching down the pitlane to kill Coulthard in Belgium, was about as far away from diplomacy as it's possible to get!Thinking about it you had the Hamilton/Rosberg incidents too. Best part was the sheer number of people it took to hold him back. He just jumped straight out of the car and walked down there with half the team following to stop him. Got to admit, I really want another driver to do something like that, think Vettel was close with Kvyat a couple of times. That was epic.
Feck's sake, just needed no Gasly in the top 10 for all my bets to come in.

Yeah, would probably need to be at the scene of a crash if there was a fight now. Think you'd get penalised just for going to down the pitlane like he did.The moment the jumped out of the car people instantly knew his intent. Absolute madness. In this current climate, that would be impossible i think.
Just watched it on youtubeYeah, would probably need to be at the scene of a crash if there was a fight now. Think you'd get penalised just for going to down the pitlane like he did.
Yeah, it was an honest mistake in horrendous conditions, Coulthard couldn't really see where Schumacher was so moved over late and Schumacher had already moved out to lap him thinking Coulthard couldn't see him. Schumacher obviously disagreed at first (understatement of the millenium), but I think once he calmed down he understood, him and Coulthard seemed to get on ok.Just watched it on youtube
The crash was odd- Coulthard did seem to slow down on the bend, but the visibility was so poor, not sure either really knew what was going on.
Yeah, I know right. You'd have to be such a sore loser to claim someone crashed on purpose like that...Toto such a sore loser.
Toto told Verstappen to do it on a purpose, as Mercedes couldn't catch Ferrari.
I thought he was a nice lad.
He is a sneaky cnut.
Toto such a sore loser. I thought he was a nice lad.
Like Hamilton at Silverstone this Sunday, Bottas was the victim of first-lap aggression from Ferrari in France two weeks ago when he was hit by Sebastian Vettel.
But the Finn denied any suspension of deliberate wrongdoing from the championship leaders.
"There are not really any concerns," he said. "We are always starting more or less in similar positions, so we are always going to be battling. We are fighting hard and these things can happen. But it's been pretty bad for us."
what? He gets rammed off the road by his title challenging team mate and he has to stay calm and collective. Bottas should have done the same to Vettle when he overtook him and then see what happens at Ferrari. It's this sort of attitude that makes it hard for me to warm to Hamilton.
He's one of the all-time greats but also a whiny, petulant man-child.
Toto has apparently already apologised for his comments. Good.
Meanwhile, some drama in F2 with one teammate crashing into the other on purpose on the warm-down lap. Been given a four race ban. Bloody FIA and their lack of consistency.
