Evra to Juve?

I don´t think Conte had much say in transfers at Juve its the board who handles their transfer business.

Fair enough. I'm just thinking from Evra's point of view signing for a club where you don't know who the Manager would be is a bit of a risk.

I think he may end up sitting on Juves bench even more than on our bench, but it is his call to make. I'd be extremely happy if he were to stay for one more season.

Bryan Robson on MUTV: ''Evra won't go to Juve if we can't get the player we are trying to get off them.''

I'd rather Evra stayed because no team in the world can lose Rio/Vidic/Evra and expect to wind things the following year by adding a 18yr old LB

But for Evra you can understand he might not want to be Shaw's understudy for the remaining years of his career.

Evra is a club legend in my eyes so he should be allowed to leave if he wishes.

Please tell me that's not true. Seems a bit petty. If he wants to leave now that he's effectively been replaced I'd hope the club would have the decency not to mess him about.

On top of that I hope we're not trying to lowball Juventus (as the rumour mill was suggesting a few days ago) over Vidal by using Evra as leverage (there's a good pun in there btw).

Could be quit consevable Evra is having a re think with the manager change etc, don't think United would stop him if he is desperate to go, would be nice to keep a happy, and content Evra though.

I just posted twitter-talks, lot of twitters that has posted that Robson said that. I didn't hear it myself...

The thing is though... If it's true what Robson said, he basically confirms that we are interested in Vidal and are trying to buy him, which contradicts the latest media-reports...

Doubtful it's true then surely, Robson will be in the what to say, and what not to say loop I would have thought.

MUTV and their pundits are notoriously badly informed of the club's activities - I think the only time I remember the club using the channel in regard to transfers was when Stewart Gardner reported from the club that they had absolutely no interest in Gaitán, and never had had any interest in him.

I've not seen Robson making the comments though, so maybe he was reporting something concrete, but in general I wouldn't put too much stock in what is said on MUTV.

I fear the only thing, that we buy the most overated player of World cup - dayley blind. People saying he is versatile well he could be our 6th best CM including rooney and as a left back he is horribly slow and faster players going around him with ease. And if they reportedly ask 17m pounds for him its ridiculous. He isn!t worth the third of it. The last thing we need to onload our team with mediocre players. I was really glad we sold Buttner, Blind would be another step back. We are not Nucastle. anyway I think Reece James will prove himself on tour. He is also as good CM as LB, so no need to go for Blind. It would be altho very risky to lose someone experienced and defacto our captain atm who would be perfect mentor to Shaw with no experienced player as his replacement. I don't want Vearmalen neither. Shaw need direct competitor for the spot. The worst thing he needs is to walk in to starting eleven having "no ambition" to improve or fight for the LB spot. Imagine you are still 19 and start to play week in week out for the biggest club in the world..

Now that'd be good if it were actually was what was going on.
Most likely MUTV guys just chat like fans would do.

Knowing us, we'll let Juventus have evra for a ridiculous low fee, then end up either paying a colossal fee, or most likely not getting Vidal at all.

WIsh he'd just go already. We cant get a high fee or even decent fee for him, not at his age. Three years ago, 'Arry offered £3m for Rio at Spurs, so, these are the prices we gotta live with.

Confirmed.

Farewell Paddy :(
