What a game! Unfortunate outcome but I think Arteta managed it as best he could with the league in mind. I just hope the wheels don't fall off from here as this can be a big psychological/emotional blow esp with the drama of crashing out on penalties. I wasn't confident with our young squad going to penalties and I was proved correct.
I can't work out if that was the worst we've played 2nd half or Sporting were 1 of the best teams we've played 2nd half.
That second half was our worst this season. Now we get to count the cost if potential injuries we racked up.
